Great for my black chrome sockets
Some of the back boxes in my house have been set back a little too far so the screws that came with my sockets are a real struggle to screw in. These extra long ones make the job a doddle. I had only been able to find either brass or chrome screws so these hae been a saviour.

Good screws
These look to be good quality screws. I wanted to used them to secure a couple of electrical sockets that were hanging out with the original screws lost (hoovered up most likely!). Unfortunately these are too long for our electrical sockets. Other than that, they seem like decent screws.

Perfect fit
Did the job. Match the face cover colour

No lead in on bolt end.
There's no lead in on the bolt as per standard plug socket screws so trying to get these started is a royal PiTA, so much so I bought diffent ones.

Slightly longer than usual adding purchase
These Evoges™ M3.5 x 50mm Long Raised Countersunk Slotted Head Electrical Screws offered for review under the Amazon Vine programme are the kind of threaded bolts you would find securing an electrical outlet - but with a slight difference. That difference is not their size, which is the standard 3.5mm thick, but their length which is 50mm. That's slightly longer than usual and an aid to secure fixing of an electrical box either outdoors, where you really don't want any chance of it getting knocked off accidentally; or for dry wall fixing. The head is the standard slotted type, but deep and wide to get plenty of purchase where required. This is the only slight disappointment as the screwdriver head channels are a little on the unfinished side. The underside of the head is convex, so not immediately ideal for (say) cupboard door fitting or (with a nut added) clamping two things together unless you countersink the drilled hole first. The threads on all 20 bolts are well cut with no apparent rough edges to catch, whilst the end is slightly chamfered to aid location of the bolt quickly. The material is good quality alloy steel coated in black nickel, which is different to the usual aluminium colour of most electrical screws, and could be used to make a design statement. They can be cut to size too for custom jobs with a little care and a junior hacksaw. At just £4.99 for 20 this is a good standby to keep in a toolkit for any number of small household jobs.

Great
These are ideal.I keep them on the van for when you get the odd accessory that just doesn't suit a standard screw as the originals were not long enough to reach the lugs in the back box, being 50mm long allows me to cut them down as necessary when I require.Overall, highly recommend.

Very Handy
This is a pack of 20 electrical socket or switch screws in black nickel finish. They are extremely handy to have in the toolbox, the big advantage is that they match the nickel colour of modern designer style sockets and switches. They are also 50mm long so ideal if the backing box is sunk a little deeper in the wall, as is sometimes the case when the wall has been tiled. The advantage of having the 50mm screws in the tool-bag is that they can be easily cut to size, just don’t use your trusty wire cutters – you’ll either blunt them or possible chip them – I simply cut half way with a hacksaw then wiggle them to snap! They are nicely finished and a very handy addition to my bag of spares.

Does the job, look good
These are a decent price, a few of the screw heads were not finished perfectly so there was shiny metal showing through but I had enough to not need them all. The black nickel look is a lighter shade than my power sockets but not by much so they weren’t noticeable so it was fine. They could be better quality but serve the purpose.
