Reading the reviews, yes you are getting something thats not as high quality as the original key. The price reflects that, this key fob will last for years and years, it 100% does the job. Strong spring. Easy to dismantle and assemble. Well made for the price. Good tool kit. You do need a strong pair of pliers to take your old key apart. This key fob will last for years and for the price I think its fantastic value for money. I was quoted £295!!! This cost £12 and took me 10 minutes to swap. Great value for money.

Great replacement! Perfect fit! Good quality. Easy to swap over. Always buy a key kit with the tool kit as it comes with everything you need. Definitely recommend this product!

The tools were very helpful. Disappointed there wasn’t a Vauxhall badge on it, but it doesn’t matter at end of the day. Everything else was the same. The spring mechanism was a little tricky to set up. Could have done with some instructions but found a YouTube video that… slightly helped.

Replaced my original Vauxhall key fob that had broken buttons. The circuit board fits the shell well and fitting the original key stem to the new metal body is quite straightforward. I wanted to swap the whole metal key section with the original but it doesn’t actually fit this replacement shell (surprisingly) so you do have to swap the stem over. Once done, buttons and flick-out key work well. A few reviews note that the two halves of the shell can separate over time so I applied a very thin bead of superglue around the rim of one half before putting them together. It’s still holding tight…

The item very good when you get it fitted But I had to cut my key fob apart with hacksaw to get the printed sircuit out That to me was the hard bite Then you replace the rest from old fob to new Bit fiddley but they give you tools to help you out Once complate like new again With new battary in the kit Witch is good the problem is the old key fob All glue up So you cant take it apart

Old key buttons had broken so I thought I'd give it a try . Very pleased with the result . Can be a little fiddly but would advise watching a few of the YouTube videos out there to get some tips . All in all well pleased with my new key .

Comes with everything you need and is relatively easy to swap following the video. Saved me over £100 at Vauxhall!
