Do not recommend well depending how big you need them but they are too small

I got them to use as table decorations for a farm party. They were cute and looked great on the tables with toy farm animals but they shed....ihad to shake them out before decorating with them and then a group of kids were tossing them around later and they came apart and made quite a dusty mess. So very messy but looked like miniature hay bales.

I bought these because I had purchased a used nativity set from a thrift store to refurbish for my daughter as a gift. Nativities are EXPENSIVE if you've ever shopped for one! Anyway, the figurines were Italian made and about 5" in height. I redid the little stable and it had a hayloft so I wanted to put some bales in it to look realistic. They fit well and I ordered 2 packs and had some leftover to coat the floor with after removing the wires that held the bales together. Other bales I saw were rated much lower and reviews made me hesitate. I sprayed them over the outside with spray glue so they would hold together for years. I also used the spray to make the pieces of crumbled bales stick to the floor well. After touch up paint on figures and new roof it looked like a new nativity!

It is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much. I do need to come back and add a picture of the finished product but I know they will be a hit at the party.

I like the realism of hay bales. They are little big bit they will work.
