Was dubious about auto feeders. Was very pleased in practice. Not used on a daily basis, but when I am going to be away for more than a couple of days. Thoroughly tested for quantity of food despatched. Measured the quantity needed for each feed and repeatedly tested the feeder to ensure the feeding gap was sufficient. The amount of food can be adjusted by sliding a gate, I have a piece of plastic of the exact width. So easy to set up. Used it twice now for over a week, no under or over feeding. Comes with very easy instructions, it is very versatile with many setting choices. I set it up to feed twice every day, with one rotation. The food simply falls out of feed drum through feed gate at bottom of each rotation. I prefer to switch to mini granules so there is a uniform feed size and no risk of the feed clumping and blocking gate. The unit has a charge indicator for rechargeable lithium battery. Really happy with this better than risking the over feeding and returning to a cloudy unhealthy tank.

Really easy to set up. Really easy to stock up with food. Charge appears to last forever. Yet to run out of power. Sits nicely on the edge of my Terrapin tank and operates nicely. Very happy with this purchase.

I spent a lot of time reading previous reviews before choosing this one and had to say had my doubts before it arrived and was tried out. It is very easy to set up, although the instructions aren’t brilliantly written it is a fairly simple piece of kit so they were good enough. I liked that it doesn’t need batteries and is charged by usb the cable for which came in the box. I needed it to feed a marine tank a couple of times a day when away on short breaks. It was easy to fill with fish food pellets. Setting the amount fed is by adjusting a small sliding flap so that more or less food comes out, adjusting the number of revolutions the feed drum makes and by setting the number of times it feeds per day. It is well worth filling it and testing over a bowl to check it is going to deliver the right amount of food for your fish. I found that it seemed to deliver more food than I thought it would and so had to adjust the sliding flap much smaller than I first thought. I liked that you can remove the clamp assembly and is supplied with a sticky pad. I am thinking about a different way to fit it so I can easily remove it when not needed as it isn’t the prettiest thing in the world and is quite large (about 15 cm long by 8cm high without the clamp assembly) So far I am pretty happy with it and it has functioned well so far. I would perhaps need to use it a few times to get confidence in it before leaving for a fortnights holiday but so far so good.

If you have a load of lovely fish that you want to kill off, this is definitely the product to buy. Spent a good half an hour setting up on the side of a jug so I knew exactly how much food it was going to deposit on every cycle. I had it filled with tropical soft pellets and it held around half my tub which is about 62g. So plenty of food for a quick three day weekend away as a trial before I go away for two weeks soon. However, I was not expecting for the main hatch that you put the food into to open up and completely empty all contents into my tank. If you’re a fish enthusiast as I am, you would know uneaten food creates ammonia spike. Hence killing 25 neon Tetris, 6 albino corys and 10 cherry shrimps and if the fish weren’t dying wasn’t enough already I came home to a home smelling like sulphur at 9 o’clock at night on a Sunday not great. spent the night emptying the tank and airing out my house. So like I said, 10 out of 10 if you want to kill your fish. If you want to use it for what is intended for keeping your fish full and happy whilst you’re away on holiday then I would not recommend. If I could give it zero stars, I would, but I have to give it one.

If you stick it to the top of your tank you would have trouble changing it without an extension and if you don’t stick it it falls forward as it is front heavy.

This saved my holidays, it dos work just how it supposed to work , i did put the timer too feed the fishes two times per day in 12 hours , that can be added to up to three times per days every 8 hours, once I receive i did fully charged and is still running perfectly after two weeks in holiday, food quantity can be adjusted to the preferences, the product seems to be good quality and good price for the price!

Se leggete le istruzioni e non ci capite nulla, non disperate: è successo anche a me. Fortunatamente basta cercare un video su YouTube e in un attimo diventa tutto semplicissimo. Una volta capito il meccanismo, questa mangiatoia è fantastica perché ti permette di gestire il cibo in modo molto preciso. Ha praticamente due anime: Modalità manuale/personalizzata: puoi impostare fino a 4 orari specifici e decidere quanti giri deve fare il serbatoio per ogni pasto. Molto utile se hai molti pesci o se vuoi dosare le quantità con precisione. Modalità automatica preimpostata: scegli tu l'intervallo (8, 12, 24 o 48 ore) e lei parte da sola dal momento in cui la attivi. C'è anche il comodissimo tasto "MANUALE" per dare un extra quando vuoi vederli mangiare. Il kit è davvero completo: cavetto USB per ricaricarla, una porta di ricambio e persino l'anello da fissare in acqua per evitare che il cibo si disperda ovunque per la vasca. La quantità di cibo si regola facilmente tramite una piccola finestrella a scorrimento sul serbatoio.

Es un dispensador muy práctico, fácil de programar, con una duración de batería muy buena. Sin problemas para que se alimenten los peces durante una vacaciones.

I got this feeder for my betta fish, Snap, and it’s been a lifesaver. It’s easy to set up, reliable, and dispenses food on schedule, so I don’t have to worry if I’m out for the day or away for a weekend. Snap gets his meals on time, and I get peace of mind. The manual feed button is a nice bonus when I want to give him a little extra. It’s quiet, holds a good amount of food, and hasn’t jammed or malfunctioned. Honestly, it might be more consistent than me remembering to feed him. Would definitely recommend!

Produit qui répond parfaitement aux attentes. La batterie dure très longtemps (1 recharge de faite en 1 an après plusieurs utilisations pendant des périodes d’une et deux semaines). Le mécanisme est parfait pour adapter la quantité et la fréquence de distribution de la nourriture. Je recommande ce produit.

Pellets are best. Since it hangs over "open water" flakes may get damp and clump and not come out. Other than that works great, custom scheduling, chargeable battery (usb) lasts a long time. Super quiet operation. Great product!
