Cool concept not fully developed
The media could not be loaded. I love the concept of this toy! It’s teaching shapes and colors as well as life cycles… I Purchased it specifically after watching one of the reviews. That particular review showed the lifecycle of a bird! And I agreed that it was very cool that they had the proper name for a baby bird. “ fledgling”Well I get my set today I open it and of course I did the cat first because I love cats!Except none of the pieces say cat? Or kitten? The second stage of a cat after infancy is under age? Under age for what? drinking? smoking? What is the cat waiting to come of age for? It’s still a cool toy… But that was the first one that I pulled out and honestly it was kind of stupid and disappointing lol I’d say there needs to be a bit more development done to this concept overall. It’s too cool to not make the improvements.

Nice quality educational toy
The media could not be loaded. See video for full review. This lifecycle toy is educational for both kids and adults. It's geared towards ages 3-6, but I would definitely say as an adult I can use a refresher on some of the terms used and lifecycles. It's definitely age appropriate for pre-school, kindergarten, and Elementary school ages. My 4 year old is able to figure out the color coordinating along with fitting the pieces in. Since he cannot read yet, I go through what each lifecycle is (the name of what is pictured) with him. He got a little bit bored with it, but this might be a toy that we just do a few lifecycles each time with. I would recommend this toy for people who homeschool as a learning tool, as well. This is an all wooden toy. The wood is light weight, yet it feels durable and like it won't break easily. The painted pictures are nicely done, and the paint doesn't seem like it will chip off easily. It comes with a cloth bag for easily storing this toy.You can easily determine the appropriate lifecycles since each one is color-coordinated, and then you fit each piece in the appropriate area on the wooden board, like a puzzle. This seems like a quality toy, and I would recommend this brand for this type of a toy.

I love the variety and the quality
I am so excited about this life cycle puzzle. I purchased it for two purposes. One for right here in my home with my kids, but also to share in with my homeschool co-op class where we've been studying life cycles. The students in that class are 5-6 years old. I'd say that age is perfect for this puzzle, but there could definitely be interest from younger and older kids. The quality of the board, the discs, and the bag is great. The wood is smooth and sturdy enough. I love the size and ease of portability. The discs are color-coded by size for ease of use and to reduce confusion for kids. For example, all of the flower life cycle discs are orange. There are so many different life cycle options--some of them are turtles, birds, flowers, bees, and frogs. It's enough to keep things interesting. It would be fun to use this in a life cycle study.

Fun and educational
This “Life Cycle” puzzle toy is easy to use and instructional for young children. The puzzle features a well-made round puzzle board and 12 different 4-piece “life cycles”. Put the pieces in order on the round board to show the correct stages of each life cycle. This toy encourages sequential thinking while teaching the scientific facts of development. Each of the life cycles are color-coded so it is easy to sort the pieces. The toy includes a useful bag for easy storage of pieces. The child can also take the pieces out of the bag to sort and assemble them correctly. This “Life Cycle” toy is a great gift for any young child.
