Rambling Man: My Life on the Road

Goodness me what a life this man has had. He travels the world meeting extremely interesting people and uses his humour to make us all laugh. Billy has made the Scottish accent acceptable and understandable to all. Just like Sean Connor did for James Bond. A brilliant read a brilliant man who loves to laugh. Even today with his medical condition he is still roaming our beautiful world and laughing all the way. Billy has a unique sense of humour that opens up our minds and gives our brain a breath of fresh air. A good read and you will chuckle constantly to the last chapter. Would recommend it for your book shelf as it can be read a few times should you be in the doldrums.

A joyous book about the sense of freedom Billy Connolly gets from being out and about and going on his big or small adventures and finding his own world to live wherever he goes.

My lovely late Dad, a Glaswegian, had a favourite word for something that was not his thing, but was " harmless " Bingham. Enjoyable but not my thing...

Loved this book, Billy’s stories of places he’s been also took me back to places I’ve lived and been as a child and adult .. from Auchengillan to Arizona ,

Bit rambling as the name implies and short on humour but quite interesting.

I love Billy Connolly, always have and always will. He is not to everyone's taste but who is. I think I've read all that he has written. If you want honesty in what you read, a straight forward opinion from a worldly old youngster, you'll find it here. I just wish I could have joined him.
