These are the greatest maps for getting around a big city like New York. Indestructible, waterproof and “purse proof”, I buy this company’s maps for myself and my traveling companions whenever I am headed to a large urban area. Just used the New York one to navigate during a two week visit, and found it to be up to date and very useful, even though I know Manhattan well. I never leave hotel without one of these in hand. Great value for an indispensable travel tool.

The city street map was excellent. But the subway map is too small. It’s the standard map NYC transit uses so if you’re just as good printing the map from the NYC MTA website’s pdf

Very handy if you use public transportation to get around NYC.
