Lovely little tabletop fire stove - creates a lovely ambience! Not sure it will provide much warmth on cold nights but looks good!

Looks good and heats room up. Went to a major retailer to check out their electrical 'real fire' appliances - they were all rubbish. Nothing beats a real fire. I grew up in a tenement, knowing how to prepare a fire with firelighters and coal - this item brings back memories.

Really good fun for when you have guests, indoor with caution or outdoor. Doesn't smoke so you can use anywhere. I'd say safe with caution as it is burning the fuel off and there is nothing else there to catch.Eye catching and can be used for toasting marshmallows and the likes, or ornamental, there is always something therapeutic about gazing into flames i think.

I got this on a whim thinking it would be cool for Christmas, toasting marshmallows and the like.Also because I am a man and there is something primal about fire that stirs a man’s soul.Using is simplicity itself. Pull up the webbing inside, squirt a small amount of fuel (must be clean burn ethanol for indoor fire pits, you can get it on Amazon), and light using one of those Poundland long neck lighters.It burn pretty hot and for a surprisingly long time on very little fuel so don’t overfill.The glass beads are nice to stop it looking like a funeral urn.I really like it, the concrete is a good insulator so doesn’t get that hot except near the top. It also comes with a snuffing plate when you just want to cut the fire short.So far also hasn’t set off the smoke alarm so clean burn definitely seems to be true.

I have just given this a go and I am quite happy with it.The whole thing is not very big, at about 20cm and maybe 20cm wide.It is quite heavy though, with the outside being a marble or similar type stone.Inside it is a metal section and then there is the metal pot with the absorbent fabric, I poured in the alcohol ( I used Isopropyl) and arranged the stones around the edge of the firepit. Once I have inserted the pot I simply gentle waft the lighter above and let it catch fire, the flame starts small until it is warmed up and then it gives a nice flame.The flame is not huge, but reaches about 20cm and is constantly moving so not a static flame.The overall effect is very nice.My only mumble is that the blue glass pebbles that come with it do nothing more than sit around then edge, and while I guess I can pour some alcohol onto them , it does not seem a safe thing to do so I wont be doing that, thus the pebbles are just pretty stones that I can leave off if I wish.Overall though, a lovely little firepit

This portable table top heater comes in well presented packaging. It would make a useful and interesting gift idea.The bowl is actually quite heavy and feels sturdy , it's a lovely shape and the marble effect is very elegant and stylish. There's a felt base to apply to protect your surfaces .You get everything included apart from the fuel needed. You can use this indoors or out. There's a snuffer to ensure the flames are covered when you are finished using the firepit. There are blue stones you can use for decoration, you can decide whether whether you want to or not. They're pretty but I think I prefer the look without, The only minor negative is this style has no protective glass for around the flames. I already own a very similar product that does . I would just feel a little safer without open flame .This is a really nice looking tabletop heater. It's reasonably priced and affordable at £22.95 and I would recommend as a gift or for personal use.
