Great cooling at a budget for mid to highish power CPU's
The media could not be loaded. Used this to replace an AMD Wraith Prism cooler I was using on my 5700x. Used to get up to 79c when gaming but after replacing with this it hasn't gone past 68c with any benchmark or game but I live in Florida and keep my AC at 78 so I'd say that's a pretty solid upgrade. It can likely keep the 5800xd at bay I'd imagine but will likely not be in the 60s. I don't have much experience with Intel and whether or not they run higher or lower temps but I imagine the results would be similar based on wattage. I know Ryzen usually idles kind of high, I typically idle around 40-50 just because of the way it fluctuates.Aside from performance, the RGB looks really nice but might be annoying to get working correctly with iCUE. That could be because I use ASUS though... I know there are usually issues with getting ASUS boards/gpu's to work right with iCUE. Just a warning for those fellow ASUS/Corsair users lol. Installation was easy, put the CPU plate on and screw down two screws. Uses the stock backplate and the installation is a breeze so that's good. Comes with thermal paste but it's not highly rated so I didn't use it. Clears all RAM on most if not any boards I'd imagine, its very far back after installing. If you're looking for something cheap and aren't running a CPU that uses more than like 125W this should be a solid upgrade if you're using like a stock or some other low end heatsink. It's better than stock in probably any case so there's that.

Great cooler and an even greater price.
When you need to step up from the stock AMD (or Intel) cooler, this is a great choice for those of us who are not into water cooling or overclocking. Though I think this cooler would work well with a little OC, it really outshines (both literally and figuratively) most coolers at even a higher price point. It's dirt-simple to install. The stock backplate is used on AMD, so no need to finagle a new one on after the fact. (With some cases, that's not as easy to do as it sounds.) It has RGB, which I can take or leave, but I tested my CPU (Ryzen 5 5600g) with the stock cooler and this one with dramatic results.Stock:Idle: 33-36 degrees (44 degrees doing regular tasks)100% load: 89-92 degreesThis cooler:Idle: 34-36 degrees (40 degrees doing regular tasks)100% load: 70-74 degreesThe stock cooler would struggle at load, given its size and orientation, it was understandable. This was all done in a Coolermaster case with input and exhaust fans added. This is well worth it at twice the price. If you want to keep your CPU below threshold (well below), and you don't want a radiator and liquid cooling monstrosity in your case, this works wonders. It fits AM4 and AM5 sockets (and similarly done for Intel.)Well worth it. I even bought a spare.

Efficient and quiet
I’m able to keep my heat uptake down and keep the noise down as well. It fit nicely into the case I selected, the quality of the fan is quite efficient as well, and it mounted perfectly in my case with my giant GPU (a 4060 series, and those can be pretty hefty). It goes well together with the schema of my build, and was a fantastic price point for quality hardware. It is a versatile piece, so I was able to get the same fan for both my sons’ builds and it went smoothly with mounting it, and works just as well for my sons’ as it does for me, in three separate configurations of builds. Totally worth the money.

Excellent thermal performance
I built a new budget gaming computer recently and thought I’d save some money by using the stock cooler with my Ryzen 5 5600. Turns out that was a bad idea. The stock cooler may be just fine for an office computer, but for my gaming computer, in my particular case, the stock cooler couldn’t keep up. The CPU was constantly thermal throttled at 95 degrees. After a reading and watching a lot of online reviews, I decided to get one of these assassin spirit 120 coolers due to having exceptional results by those that test and compare these things. I’m very happy to find out that they’re correct about how well this CPU cooler works. I expected to see about a 15 degree improvement, but I’m actually getting more than a 20 degree improvement on my build. Temps are now staying in the low 70s under a full gaming load (as opposed to the previous 95 degrees with the CPU throttled down to about 20%). I’m very happy with these results and can definitely see why these are getting such good reviews by all those YouTube channels.

Quality product, good cooling
Nice black finish, quality built. Kept a Ryzen 5600X cool no issue. Only complaint would be the red stand off spacers used for AM4. Looks off on an all black theme, oh well. Good product, good price.

Great for Ryzen 9 5900X
Used this when I upgraded from Ryzen 7 3700X to the Ryzen 9 5900X, replacing the stock AMD Prism cooler. Temps show high 30's at idle and high 70's after long gaming sessions. It also looks nice. Instalation is straight forward clip on design, that's familiar to anyone who has had AMD CPU's in the past.

Awesome cooler for the price.
I got this cooler for my kid's Ryzen 5600X gaming pc. It's certainly more than enough for that CPU. It looks a lot sleeker than the traditional Assassin Spirit coolers, and have a little better cooling capacity as well, according to the testers.. It's virtually silent in his PC. I plan on trying one for a Ryzen 7800X3D build here soon.

Impressed with the performance
This is by far the best and cheapest air cooler out there that just works. Easy to install.
