3M FSK Facing Tape 1525CW is an adhesive tape that is used for sealing and patching FSK-faced duct wrap insulation, as well as a vapor seal for reinforced aluminum faced fiberglass, mineral wool thermal insulation, and sheet metal.Made with foil/scrim/kraft (FSK) lamination that is coated with a solvent acrylic, pressure-sensitive adhesive, this tape bonds and seals at temperatures as low as -10 °F (-23 °C). Sticks very well as long as you slick it down with a plastic spreader. Don't cut off the backing with the tape because it is a real challenge to get it started again. Instead, once you have the backing separated, cut just the tape and it is easy.

Excellent product. Worth every penny!
I originally thought this was a little costly … until I started using it. This tape was amazing. Very easy to use excellent adhesion. I especially like the fibers that run through it for added strength and the foil tape is so much easier to use than regular duct tape because, like tinfoil, it will crinkle and bend and keep its shape around odd angles and elbows etc. I would buy it again in a minute, but I only have one furnace hah.
