Overall, this is a great shifter for someone that is building an entry level sim rig. I do somewhat regret not purchasing one of the more expensive shifters, only because this one has some minor issues (which are totally justifiable at this price point). If you are looking for a decent, entry-level shifter, this is a good choice. Here are the two main things that will likely drive me to upgrade in the future: Sequential shifting on this is a pain. There is small plastic part with an even SMALLER attachment screw that you must fumble with in order to use the sequential mode. If you drop the screw into the housing, which is very easy to do given its size, you will need to get a stick magnet to get it out (I speak from personal experience). I eventually gave up on installing that part and now, when I need to use the shifter in sequential mode, I manually move the shift handle back into the neutral in between shifts. Its not ideal, but it works and is better than the alternative of constantly installing and uninstalling that little white plastic part. The shifter is loud, but that doesn't bother me. It feels way more authentic than a logitech wheel shifter, but still doesn't feel anything like a normal car. So far, it has been durable enough to hold up for a few months of racing and works just as good as when it came out of the box. Although, from a durability perspective, don't let your drunk friend sit in your sim rig and think he is running Le Mans - my buddy beat up on this thing, and I don't think it could sustain much more of that. I told him to calm down before he broke it.

With some dampening modification it sounded so much better but that is preference. Product itself performed flawlessly.

I bought this thinking that I wouldn’t like it that much, but for $50 it’s better than nothing. When I got it, it was surprisingly high quality for the price and actually feels nice going through the gears. I’m not a fan of how “clinky” it sounds when you get into gear, but I usually use headphones anyways so it’s not a big deal. The sequential shifting is a bit finicky but once you find exactly where the little plastic piece needs to go, and tighten it down, it works really well.

Works good for price. A little clunky and loud but gives a positive feel. Only complaint is that the usb-c plug in the side of the shifter does not fit a cable very well and aggressive use can cause disconnects without using something to secure it tightly
