Works well, lasts for a long time, and fits inside the jetboil sumo -maybe others. I usually use it to make coffee a few mornings every three or four weeks while car camping. I'll get over a year out of these doing that. Fire bans have have been popping up all over here in Colorado and the same all over the west. I'll keep a jetboil around in case a wood fire isn't allowed. Lately the MSR systems have taken over in popularity, and jetboil had been falling out. Jetboil is a good system, and I'm glad to have a source in Amazon to find canisters. I'll probably add MSR to my kit, but I'll hold on to jetboil for as long as they stay in business.

The most important thing to know about this stove is its run time. I got about 1 hour and twenty-five minutes run time out of the 100g canister. This is the small size canister that packs up inside the Optimus Crux Lite Solo backpacking stove. I was able to heat enough water to a full boil for 9 freeze dried backpacking meals (requiring different amounts of water; from 12 oz to 16 oz) plus four 10 oz cups of coffee. The gas lights easily when the stove is turned on and a lit match is presented (I have run into issues with some gases being reluctant to ignite with some of my gas powered camping appliances. Sometimes because the gas pressure is high and so gas wants to come out under too much pressure). So, this little canister is what it is, a compact backpacking option. Compactness and ease of carrying are what you're paying for. Not economy of dollars per btu.

Easy to use. Lightweight for backpacking. Lasts a long time with proper use.

Used over my last 9 day thru hike i used it to boil a cup of coffee 2 times a day and for dinner every night and still had a couple of boils left

I keep this with my jetboil. It does the job and easy to pack.
