This product is as clean and healthy as you're gonna get. If you think algae isn't going to have some type of taste or smell, you'd be sadly mistaken. Use your common sense and discernment when it comes to this stuff, I am not understanding why there's one star reviews and people talking straight smack about it when it's an amazing product, people just like to complain.

Slight taste but not really over powering the flavor of whatever you put it in. But it changes the color of your smoothie to green, but the smoothis still taste great

Sometimes similar products are too "green tasting" for me, I'm very happy with it being mild in comparison. I make a smoothie with it every afternoon and it's great.

I’ve tried many greens before but this has been the worst. Not worth it for the price, taste is completely horrible, taste like fish. Also I opened the packet and it went all over and now my kitchen towel is stained. Too bad I can’t return it

I've added this to many different fresh juices. The smell does seem a little bit odd at first, but the taste isn't bad when mixed with other flavors. It does produce a very dark green tint to your beverage. No side effects that I've noticed. I do recommend this product.
