I was puzzled when I read the reviews for this product as some buyers complained that the socks were too small, while others that they are too large. I wear a size 6 shoe, so was particularly concerned that an overly large sock would not fit me. Nonetheless, given the ease of returning products bought from Amazon, I decided to buy a 3-pack of these socks:The verdict: The foot portion of the sock fits just fine; not too big and not too small. However, the leg portion of the socks are on the long side -- at least if you are short like me. But, that doesn't really matter, as it's easy to fold over the top of the sock so that it ends below the knee. (It could be that the length of the leg portion is too small for women who are really tall.)Otherwise, these socks are great. I bought the monochromatic black & gray set, which are very attractive. They are also quite soft. They seem to have held up well in the wash although they have only been washed a few times (gentle cycle, cold water, and low heat in the dryer). I would definitely buy these again if the need arises.

They are soft and warm. They actually go all the way up to the knee. Have ordered them in the past and they last a long time.

I didn't expect much from these socks - I don't typically have good luck when ordering something like this on line, but I really like them. I'm tall and they needed to be long. Check. Nice and long. I wanted something warm and soft. Check. Warm and soft. The quality seems good. The only reason they didn't get 5 starts is they aren't particularly wooly. In the end, that's OK because they are warm and they checked the rest of the boxes.

Very nice knee socks. So far they stay up all day with having to pull them up. Needed these for under my work uniform because I have a bit of poor circulation. They are comfortable for a 12 hour shift and really nice and warm. Haven’t worn knee socks in many years but I really like these.

They are soft, plenty high, and the toe lumps are minimal. I've had them over a year and still going strong. I put my socks on inside out to avoid the dreaded toe lump.

These are comfy, stay up, wash/dry great. I wear these around the house 90% of the time, I can keep them on and they still fit in my shoes if I have to run out. I've tried so many kinds and am so happy with these. Most other knee high socks I've tried through Amazon are either too short or shrink and these are neither.

I love these. They are warm enough for Michigan yet stretchy and comfortable. And soft. I'm going to buy more. And for tall people, they are long enough to hit just below the knee.

These socks are a hug for your legs. They stay up perfectly and look good too. I'm definitely going to order more. Highly recommend.

These socks came over my knees and I had to fold them down. Every time I wore them they stretched and got longer. I returned them.
