Carpet and hardwood furniture sliders are great! I've purchased multiple sizes of the X-PROTECTOR furniture sliders as well as carpet sliders from other vendors. All work well on carpet, but the plastic of the X-PROTECTOR brand is a little thicker, which allows it to much better maintain it's original shape under heavier furniture or heavy beds. The other vendor's products I've purchased recently end up bending/warping under heavier loads and then do not slide as well compared with the X-PROTECTOR brand.

I use them for my bed and computer desk both move much more smoothly the did however fail with a loaded book shelf on carpet just lid right off them, so there are some limitations.

These are great little casters. Because I have scoliosis, was using furniture casters to move the heavy dining room chair I sit in all the time that is on a thick rug but they are quite large so I tried these little ones. They work fairly well but not as good as the furniture casters; however, a friend of mine uses them on his dining chairs on a wood floor and they work extremely well.

Works great and my living room is like an air hockey table. Very helpful.

I've used these on different kinds of chairs and tables, and they have been great. They allow me to move the items around more easily.And they seem sturdy, because none of them have broken from people sitting on them. I would recommend this product.

Plastic is flimsy and a couple of them cracked

I have an old computer desk that was 'embedded' into the rug. This tool made it easy to lift the desk and put the sliders under it. I was able to slide it without any problems. The lever arm is well made and made of metal. Pretty happy with this product.

I wanted to be able to move a Queen sized bed at least once a week; it had 12 casters, and they were sitting 'in' a carpet and didn't lend themselves to being easily moved; I tried putting the sliders under the casters, and they just slid off. I'll have to fossick around and seek a better idea - (help! From anyone).

Where have these been all my life! Moving heavy furniture is now a breeze, which means I can rearrange things, manage cables, clean behind bookshelves and dressers. Just a really useful product that works as advertised.

These X-PROTECTOR Chair Sliders work well for moving furniture across carpet without snagging or damaging the fibers. The 2" size fits most chair legs and provides a stable base, reducing noise and friction. I used them in a carpeted office area, and they made repositioning chairs much easier. However, they may not adhere as strongly to uneven or worn leg bottoms, so surface prep is key. Overall, a practical solution for protecting carpets and improving furniture mobility.
