It sounds sort of oxymoronic to say this is great if you're on a low carb diet, but I've since learned I need to pulse my carbs as I have little to no glycogen by the time I go to weight train when I am on keto, and I can't get through a workout. Cardio workouts are a different story. Doing 25 grams of fast acting carbs then eating 25 grams of vegetable sourced carbs after lifting seems to do the trick. A scoop and a third of another scoop and I'm practically flying around the gym 20 minutes later. And resistance training makes good use of that glucose and insulin. Sitting around., not so much. My body never really mastered the ability to fuel itself with ketones during resistance training, and after listening to some well informed podcasters (MDs, pHDs) I decided to try this. Works like a charm. It's obviously high on the glycemic index being pretty much glucose, but it's fast acting and simple to digest, which is exactly what you need before, or during a workout. I would never drink this in any other context, but for heavy weight training its perfect. Mixes quick and easy, obviously tastes decent as it's sweet (I think I will brush my teeth immediately after drinking it from now on) and the price is right.

Works great for correcting my low blood glucose levels! I don't understand why the major brands that produces glucose tablets and gels do not make a product that is free of artificial ingredients. So I purchased this product and it has been great. Tastes way better than I had imagined it, surprisingly. I also got a bang for my buck which is such a great deal since I am getting a low every time I breastfeed our newborn so that is a money saver right there. It has been lasting me for quite a while. I do use the glucose tablets in my purse for when I am not in the house or in the vehicle where I keep my dextrose drinks. For any Type 1 diabetics out there, you won't regret getting this product! It'll last you for a while and doesn't have anything artificial. Dextrose and glucose function the same; they are absorbed immediately into the bloodstream and does not have to be broken down before absorption. The EMTs uses Dex-50 injectables to be used with intravenous lines to bring a hypoglycemic patient's low glucose level back up. And the Dex-50 is composed of Dextrose. Both thumbs up!

Easily consumable product. I make an intra-workout drink out of this and it's mixability and quality has been great. No stomach issues and does the trick when pushing hard in the gym!

Mixes easy. Not sure if it works yet. Honestly I’m not sure how to know if it works or not. No taste. No smell.

I have recently been taking dextrose for almost a month now and I can say confidently that I have seen major improvements in my overall health and muscles. My muscles feel more fuller and I am able to go more intense helping me get bigger and stronger. I personally take 1 scoop of dextrose and 2 scoops of protein in the morning before working out and after the gym, I take 1 scoop of dextrose, 1 scoop of creatine and 1 scoop of collagen. Really amazing stuff. It taste sweet but in a good way. I will continue to get this for as long as I live. If you are looking to take your working out journey to the next level , I highly recommend you get this supplement and begin taking it with protein, creatine, collagen , etc. 10/10
