Not a bad product by any means . Very gritty so not a product to used for covering kao wool in a propane forge, but that’s my fault for not paying attention. Heat rating is accurate though. Very difficult to apply in my circumstances but again, my fault.

I used this product to finally make my small forge with heat resistant bricks and cemented them together with this high temp cement. The material was easy to work with and I followed the curing instruction exactly and the the mini forge turned out great. I would recommend reading and following the instructions as best you can

First, I want to mention that this turned out awesome and was so easy to do! It's a great quality product and I definitely would suggest it for anyone wanting a keepsake of their child, or other loved ones hands, feet, paws, or whatever it is that you want to capture in time.The one thing that I appreciate most (other than the final product) is that this set comes with a practice sample. The practice sample that comes with it is actually a good size and I was able to make a second sculpture of my daughter's hand with it. The practice allowed me confidence to do the final product and also allowed my daughter to familiarize herself with how it felt and how still she needed to keep her hand.The set also comes with several shades of paint if you wish to paint your final product. The colors allow for any shade of skin tone and the plaster paints easily. In case there are any rough spots in the plaster, the set also includes fine sandpaper to smooth those out. Once finished, the piece can be placed on its wooden mantle for display.Overall, I'm very happy with this product and the thought they put into it. The extra practice piece really went above and beyond my expectations of customer service. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone.
