Big guy, fits nicely…
The media could not be loaded. I purchased these at a nice entry price point. I don’t ride hard enough for $300+++ boots and top tier gear. However, I wanted a high quality boot around $100-$150 that had high reviews. Also, that would fit a larger persons build (calves & wider 56 year old feet).(Note: I am wearing them around the house and have been for over an hour now. I will update after a few rides to give additional perspective). These boots were exactly what I was hoping for. First, Alpinestars are a legendary brand and they don’t make junk. These may be entry level boots, but for my riding style and aggression, perfect. Also, I have larger calves. I’m 5’10” and 270lbs. Plus my feet have flattened over time. (Yeah, you young bucks just wait and see, it’s coming for you also). The top latch clip had plenty of room for my calves. In fact, even more room than I needed by an inch or 2. This also leaves some room for tucked in shin guards depending on how think yours are. The foot bed is wide enough where it is comfortable but probably ideal for a thinner foot. If you wear a “wide” it will likely work for you. If you wear a double wide? Unlikely. A special note on the arch support. It is high and very firm. More firm than I prefer. Painful, no. Just not as comfortable as the rest of the boot. The overall comfort I would rate as an “A-.” For the price and quality, it’s a huge win for the customer. The fit..? I wear a 10.5 Wide in normal shoes. Using the size chart, I purchased a size 11 and the fit true to the size chart and exactly what I needed. The color selections are fantastic. I chose the red white and blue. ‘Merica baby..!” But there were others I really liked. If I could have a perfect color combo? A tactical black, greys, and white “stealth” looking boot would be outstanding. The flex forward is minimal but enough to give you room to move/shift. The material is rigid all the way around except for a couple compression points for mobility. Riding through the bush? NOTHING is getting through these. Zero. I got the slicker sole due to them being on sale more than the lugged sole. For my duel sport riding, that “may” come back to haunt me. Not Alpinstars fault, but rather my paycheck. The material the sole is made of is a firm but grippy rubber material. Dare I say hard? And make no mistake, there is a serious lug that runs down the center of the boot sole for added safety and rigidity. They are surprisingly cool after wearing for the past hour or so. They are waterproof and wind proof. However, the toe box doesn’t seem to be well insulated for the colder weather riders out there. Insulated/heated socks would help. And yes, there is room for those thicker socks. The top of the boot sits about 6” from the top of my kneecap. What else can I say about these boots? So far, they have exceeded my expectations and high hopes. Again, I will update after a few rides and/or if any future fails.

Well worth the price
Bought Thor boots first, didn’t like the quality, they felt very cheap, hurt my feet immediately. These broke in within one ride, comfortable from the start. Alpines are the best for the money IMO

AWESOME FIT
Great boots, excellent protection, comfortable and look awesome. I wear them all day riding even first time and my feet don’t hurt. I’ve had surgery on both feet with metal plates and screws. The top of my feet can be pretty sensitive if there is pressure on them. These fit perfect and I get lots of compliments on them. Thank you for selling a great product at a great price

I like them, I like them a lot.
I've rode dirt bikes my whole life. From a 12 year to well, a 40 year old. I've never owned riding boots in my life. I always just threw on some steel toe boots or similar and rode. While I've been blessed with zero broken bones, I can't begin to tell you how much I love these boots. They have saved me on a couple crashes this year where I knew the peg would have gone into my leg when I dumped my bike. I drive enduro these days, WR426 and I have a WR450. Even at 40, I still like to ride hard and off the beaten path. The boots give a great deal of support while standing on the pegs and riding. I was actually shocked at how less fatigued I feel after riding standing up. Great support, comfortable boot even when new and true to size at least for me. Of cours they are a little stiff when walking as I need to break them in some more. I wouldn't plan for a long walk in these boots, but for riding they are great. Obviously you need to get used to the boot when shifting, braking, and touching the ground stopped, as they have a different feel than a tennis shoe or steel toe boot - but once you do, they are great. I cant say anything about longevity as I've only used the boot on about 10 rides, but they are doing fine so far. Take the time to clean your boots everytime you ride. Was off the dirt. Keep the leather clean. I'm hoping that will make them last a while. In my opinion, right after purchasing a good solid helmet, get yourself a pair of good boots. I dont think you'll regret it. As I have no experience with other brands and model boots, keep in mind for my first pair, I like these a lot. They sure saved me on a couple wipeouts. I maybe 40, but ride like I'm 30. Haha.
