Not really a practical as it looks

Most basis are quite large to prevent the umbrella from falling over - so this bit sticks out ready to catch bare feet and toes - shame really because the product does seem to stop the umbrella from falling over. Oh, the zip broke the first time I used it - relinked OK and with gentle use seems to keep zipped up

A great alternative to concrete slabs. The material appears to be robust enough to last and also to prevent water leaking in to the sand (and making it even heavier). It's a little fiddly to fill with sand but once filled does the job, also has a lower footprint than the equivalent weight of unsightly slabs.

Not whatiwanted

the internal stitching is poor trying to move it when it has sand allowed the sand to spilt all over the deck

Helped to hold the parasol base for 1 day then split open. I wouldn't buy this product again.
