Swap the KA-15S to a Low G set and you’ll love the result
KA-15S Black is a great starter Uke. The strings that came with it were ok, but once I swapped to the AQ-101 Low G strings.... it sounds AMAZING. Lots of opinions on the topic, but with High G strings, this Uke doesn’t sound its best IMO. Low G resonates very well though.

ottimo strumento, una stella in meno per il venditore
Nella giungla di ukulele di vario tipo (e di qualità opinabile) che si trova su Amazon, spicca questo modello della Kala, che emerge per qualità costruttiva. Ottimi i materiali con cui viene realizzato (legno per il corso, corde marca Aquila) e finiture di buon livello considerando il costo. Acquistato per mio figlio per le lezioni in classe alla scuola media.Quattro stelle (mio figlio ne avrebbe date di certo tre) per il venditore: ordinato (a prezzo superiore) nella versione "black" (KA-15S-BLK) è invece arrivato nella colorazione color legno naturale, con grande dispiacere di mio figlio! Nonostante la delusione, abbiamo deciso comunque di tenerlo, data la necessità di utilizzarlo subito.

Affordable, good sounding, beginner friendly
I am a beginner player, and I did some research online before finally deciding that I wanted to get this one. The brand in general is pretty great, it’s a very reasonable price and definitely beginner friendly. I think it sounds great and I definitely recommend if you’re looking for something that’s not too cheap (something good quality) but also not too expensive if you’re just looking to play as a hobby.

Déscriptif faux. La couleur noir/beige est noir/marron
J'ai commandé ce ukulélé l'année dernière pour l'anniversaire de mon fils, je l'ai reçu en noir/marron alors que j'ai commandé noir/beige. Je l'ai retourné. J'ai espéré cette année recevoir la bonne couleur en me disant que c'était juste une erreur,!!!? mais stupaifaite de voir que NON, le descriptif est faut et c'est maintenu et voulu. Décevant !!! Déçue de cet achat que je ne vais pas retourné car mon fils a déchiré la boîte en ouvrant son cadeau. Mais je vous conseille de ne pas la prendre si votre couleur c'est la noir/beige. Bcs moins joli !
