Seems to be absorbed better and less gastrointestinal issues than with others Mg supplements.
I have purchased this for a second time. I do agree with experts that a magnesium supplement is important for many adults. The reason for me liking this product is because it does not have the gastrointestinal issues I have had with every other magnesium product I have tried. I think there are two reasons for this. One is that it is chelated which means it is absorbed by your body more readily and that each capsule comes in smaller doses. So since I know I have issue with other magnesium products I do not take the full dose of this, I only take two at at time instead of the recommened three. While it is not the full recommended dose at least I am taking something. When it comes to supplements it is hard to tell if it is actually working, or at least for me it is. But I will have to say that since I have regularly starting taking this every night for about two weeks without skipping I have noticed I do sleep better. The scientist in me always questions why something happens and I would have to take much more time to be 100% confident that the magnesium supplement is the reason. But I really have fallen asleep faster and sleep longer through out the night. Now this did not occur for me if I took it sporadically or not long term. I would say it took at least two weeks of taking nightly to notice any difference in my quality of sleep. So as far as confirming it is working as a magnesium supplement should I will not say 100%, but I will say that this product has had no issue on my digestive processes which has always been an issue in the past with magnesium.

Good Product
*Review:* I’ve been using magnesium bisglycinate for a few weeks now and I’m really impressed. It’s gentle on my stomach, unlike other forms of magnesium that used to cause cramps or diarrhea. I’ve noticed better sleep, less muscle tension, and an overall sense of calm. The capsules are easy to swallow and there’s no weird aftertaste. Definitely a supplement I’ll keep in my routine.

good
I bought this supplement as a recommendation from my therapist. it really helped me with my sleep deprivation and interruption. Despite the mood stability effect as many studies said, I haven't seen it yet. Unlike other magnesium supplements, I didn't see laxative effect. The pills are super tiny and easy to swallow. I will purchase it again.

I love this magnesium supplement!!!
I have Autism, and so magnesium is extra important for me. If that weren't bad enough, none of the foods I am willing to eat contain enough magnesium to keep me from being deficient in magnesium, so I really don't get any dietary magnesium at all (I probably get a little bit, but it's nowhere near enough to keep me from being very deficient). I've seen extremely long lists of foods I could eat every day that would keep my magnesium levels up, but none of them appeal to me at all. I would seriously have to force myself to eat them. Who wants to live like that? I turned 39 years old last month, and so it's more important than ever for me to make sure I am getting plenty of magnesium every day. For a long time, I was trying to keep my magnesium levels up with a buffered magnesium bisglycinate in a powdered form that has the following inactive ingredients: Magnesium bisglycinate chelate‚ magnesium oxide‚ citric acid‚ adipid acid‚ stevia leaf extract. Yeah, it has lots of magnesium oxide in it. Not good! To make it worse, the Supplement Facts panel says this: Magnesium Bisglycinate Chelate 997mg / * Magnesium (As Bisglycinate Chelate) 179mg / 45% Each serving is half of a teaspoon. I took one serving when I woke up, and another right before bed. I had to force myself to do the work of mixing it with a little bit of water and then drink it. It was palatable thanks to the Stevia Leaf Extract, but still, I really hated it. I always wished I could just find a tiny capsule to take. So yeah, that powder was ok, but it wasn't *great*. Unfortunately, I was living in ignorance and I thought this was as good as it could possibly get for me. After all, I never found a capsule or tablet or pill form that was small enough for me to swallow, and I also couldn't find a better source of magnesium in a powdered form that was palatable. So, I just kept ordering this stuff without doing any occasional shopping around to see what might be new on the market. I would sometimes have to read what the benefits of magnesium are to help keep me motivated to continue taking that powdered form, but I would usually sit there wishing I could actually experience those benefits - or at least *notice* them. I just thought I was out of luck because I have Autism. I did notice a difference in my ability to swallow bigger capsules and pills when I would go too long without taking that magnesium, so I at least had that. Recently, I had to order more of my powdered magnesium but it was out of stock everywhere and the manufacturer said it would be 4-6 weeks before I could get some more from them or from *any* retailer! That would've meant I would have gone about 2-3 weeks without any magnesium at all! So, I looked around on Amazon and I actually found a few encapsulated magnesium supplements I wanted to try, including this BioSchwartz magnesium. While trying to narrow my choice down to just 1 (I have a limited income), it became more and more obvious the BioSchwartz magnesium was by far the best choice, so I confidently ordered a bottle. I started taking it on May 11th and now it's May 28th, and I just want to shout it from the rooftops that this magnesium supplement is fantastic! I take 1 when I wake up and 1 right before bed and it only requires just a tiny sip of water. For the first time in my life, I'm actually experiencing absolutely all of the reported benefits of getting enough magnesium every day! It's awesome! I'm also not getting any of those unwanted heavy-feeling physical effects from ingesting all of those filler ingredients. I mean, now that I have this comparison to go by, I can tell you that it's like the benefits from such inferior magnesium supplements get muffled or like they're hiding behind a thick fog or something. With this BioSchwartz magnesium, I can honestly feel the quality and potency and purity. All I get are the benefits of magnesium and nothing else! I honestly think this is what it feels like to get plenty of dietary magnesium. I already get plenty of B-6 (P-5-P), Folate (Metafolin), and B12 (Methylcobalamin from "nugget" lozenges), and I also take a lot of other amazing supplements including Fermented Cod and Skate Liver Oil and Concentrated Butter Oil, so yeah. :) I'm all set now! I finally feel great! This magnesium has made a huge difference. Looking back to before I started taking this and comparing then to now, it's like I wasn't getting *ANY* magnesium before. The capsules are the tiny #4 capsules that have a capacity of 210 mg. None of these capsules contain any less than 200 mg of magnesium, and most of them are filled to capacity. So, each capsule contains about 200-210mg of non-buffered Albion Minerals TRAACS® Magnesium Bisglycinate Chelate, and the capsules themselves are these harmless AND TINY high-quality Vcaps® Plus brand capsules. Perhaps the best part is the body can utilize all of 200 mg of the magnesium, unlike that powdered form that had 997 mg per serving but only 179 mg could be absorbed. This is the magnesium supplement I have been waiting for! In case you're wondering about whether it gives me any sort of unwanted effects on bowel movements or any other related things like that, I am very happy to report that I don't feel anything that I don't like unless I take too much (which is to be expected from taking too much magnesium). This is everything I have always wanted in a magnesium supplement!

Best magnesium supplement
Best magnesium supplement over-the-counter. No side effects. Well tolerated. No stomach issues. No bloating or cramps. Excellent in relieving muscle cramps.

Good stuff!
Magnesium, YAY! The Bisglycinate comes highly recommended because of the body's ability to absorb easily (chelated even more so), the body loves it, and no distinguishable laxative effect as other types of magnesium may have. I started supplementing because of cramps, calves mostly. Worked like a charm. Most people are magnesium deficient so go for it!
