Works. But came without screws or instructions. But was easy to figure out based on the Amazon page.

It works fine but, the the ring on the door side, pulls up even when your not trying to pull it up & out. Also, the rubber end keeps falling off! I guess we will glue both ends on to the bar...

THIS BAR LOOKS WAY MORE CLASSY THAN THE OLD WOODEN THINGS FROM BACK IN THE DAY. THE INSTALL WAS PRETTY SIMPLE. THANK GOD I HAVEN'T HAD THE CHANCE TO FIND OUT IF IT IS GOING TO WORK OR NOT. I CAN SAY I DO RECOMMEND IT THOUGH.

Better than expected
Once I installed this on the doorframe I no longer have the worry about a break in. As long as the doorframe is sturdy enough, this will definitely do the job. I recommend using better screws than what was included in the package. Use ones that are 3 times longer
