Unique look, Great value, very "earthy" feel for that outdoorsy person.
I love this pen. I was looking for something unique and ''special'' to use for my journaling time. This was just the something that took my Journaling to the next level of intimate and unique. It is easy to use. I've yet to have any leakage issues, or other messy concerns I've had when looking at using fountain pens to travel with me anywhere. The ink inserts are easy to change out. Remember to push until You free on hear the "pop" to know the cartridge is fully inserted and pierced for proper ink flow. I've also used it by dipping in the ink bottle. Tricky at first to find the proper amount of ink but again, the nostalgia keeps my personal journaling fun, personalized a little more and creative. This means I look forward to sitting down and journaling about my meditation, day or any other special time I want to writs about. For the value and desired "earthly" look I wanted, it is perfect. I've used it on multiple paper types and it writes cleanly on them all. My journal is handpressed, "raw" cotton paper, and still clear without any bleeding that would blur or otherwise distort my words and letters. I love the wood look as it helps me remain grounded while transitioning from deep meditation to recording my thoughts without a stark contrast from calm to hectic that other more expensive and modern looking fountain pens have. I have had several people ask where I got it and how much it cost. They're bought themselves one and we've all gifted one or two to others.

Beautiful and solid craftsmanship
The media could not be loaded. My very favourite fountain pen, I use it daily at work and carry it in my purse. Writes smoothly and the nib is just the perfect size, I would say somewhere between medium to fine which makes the lines refined with each stroke. Glides beautifully and super smoothly. Bamboo wood makes an elegant and somewhat unique impression.I bought two sets of Monaggio ink cartridges with it (they are international standard size) and my video attached shows how I used them with the pen.Bigger all black set I got here:Fountain Pen Ink Refill Cartridges for Pens Set Fine to Medium Nib With Case for Calligraphy Drawing Writing Journal Refilling Cartridge Bulk Box Small International Standard Fit All Pack of 20 BlackAnd blue & black set I got here:Ink Cartridges Standard International Size for Fountain Pen Set Blue Black Fine to Medium Nib With Elegant Case Disposable For Calligraphy Writing Drawing Pens With Ink CartridgesI love this brand and also use their dry erase markers to make notes on my fridge calendar and keep track on my to-do lists, they come with 4 or 13 different colours, thought it might be helpful.Dry Erase Markers Whiteboard Markers Set (Classic Set (12 Markers: 4 Colors - 3 of Each Color))

Writes well but some issues with materials
Just got my Monaggio fountain pen, and am enjoying it for now. It fits my hand well. It's a big heavier than the other fountain pen I've been using, but not to the point where it's a problem. A well=designed pen, ergonomically. A couple of issues -- the converter was stuck inside the top of the pen and I had to whack it numerous times, very hard, to get the converter out so I could fill it. And as I filled it with ink, the converter seemed flimsy. It felt like it might break at any moment. I hope this pen can accommodate other converters.

PLEASE READ, I hope this to be insightful and helpful
I have harsh criticisms, but I am generous on rating this Fountain Pen, yet I am disappointed.------PLEASE READ before you judge that it only happened to me----------Pen case has "moderately low" quality------Packaging is 100% nice and as I unwrapOutside look of the case, without back view, is beautiful, decent, and good, solid bamboo/wood.the metal hinge is rusted and uneven; cheap metal material for hingetiny wooden scraps on the hinge of the casethe hinges are very loose when the case is closed, and it gets tighter as you open the case,as time progresses it will get very loose based on my experience.the slot on the inside that holds the pen and the back of the wooden case has not been polished, texture therefore is very rough;it does not feel like "luxury wood;"The edges of the slot inside the case that holds the pen is very sharp, you can cut your finger if you try, it's like a paper cut feel, I tried on myself. The case will only allow the pen pocket clip facing outwards, otherwise the case cannot be fully closedThere is no room for the extra ink refill converter. If you use cartridges, you'll have to find a place to put that little thing instead of able to have it inside the case;----------the Pen has "moderately high" quality----------Beautiful Pen, satisfied with look and feel;mysterious powder substance within the cap, used a wet cotton swab to clean it;the cap closes nicely with a small click;the black part of the pen in the ad photo is plastic;you can put the cap on the other end of the pen;the contact point between the "head" of the pen and the body is plastic vs. metal material, it leaves a mark on the black plastic as you twist and turn to "open" the pen;vigorous movement can cause leak on the tip of the pen;inside feels cheap including the converter.------------------------------------------------------------------I don't judge writing experience because I bought it as a gift.Overall, if you use it as a writing utensil, you're good to go.I don't recommend this as a gift. But with $40, you can't expect an actual good quality gift; But with $40, it's too much for utensil-wise product.there's a reason why it's $60 off from the original $99. I'm not complaining rating because I got lured too.this pen stuck in an embarrassing position between "decent gift" and "value tool." It's not enough for either. I would be much happier if they charge me $70 or $60 or $50 or whatever and bring me something actually nice in terms of gift, and not $40 (with cartridge or ink $50) that doesn't fit either role of "decent gift" or "Value tool." It is a "decent tool" to use, not gonna lie, but value-wise no. There are other options if you're looking for value pen.Thank you, have a nice day.

Both are beautifully crafted and the pen has a smooth writing style
This is a surprisingly weighty pen for bamboo, as is the case. Both are beautifully crafted and the pen has a smooth writing style. An absolute bargain for the price too and looks significantly more expensive. Do note that this doesn't come with separate cartridges (although takes standard ones), however does have the refillable cartridge with it so you can full from a Quink Ink pot or similar.

Good for the price
Nice fountain pen for the price - added bonus of being a warm wooden one to replace my lost plastic one. Took my WHSmith cartridges and ink is flowing great but as I've only just started to use it, it will take a while for the nib to wear in to my handwriting.Like the nice matching case which opens like a glasses case. Will probably use the converter system as there are some lovely metallic inks on the market.

Excellent considering the price I would have thought that it would have been lit more expensive
Very nice pen with a nice feel and writes very smoothly not scrachy at all and is comparable to my pens with a 3 figure price. The only niggle I have is that it didn’t come with an ink cartridge although I did have ink here but I wanted to use it straight away but all in all for the price it’s an excellent priced pen which would have had 5 stars if only there was something on the page to say that cartridges need to be purchased separately

Stylish, crafted and works perfectly!
I bought this pen to stand out from the crowd. Starting to look at more eco-friendly and stylish products I saw this and thought I would give it a try. The pen arrived next day (thanks Prime) and was sealed in a carved wooden box. Although the pen is stylishly crafted, smooth and works nicely the case hinges are slightly loose which some could see as being 'cheap'.The pen arrived with a refillable cartridge and also works with standard disposable if required. Used the product for over a week and no issues with leaks that you would find with cheaper products.Highly recommended item!

Perfect gift
What a great pen in a stylish case. I was concerned that it may be too light but the weight is perfect. This would make an ideat present. The only downside is that the cap won't go on the end of the pen when in use - at least I have a case to put it in so I shouldn't lose it!
