If your aim is to work out how to set every type of table, this probably isn't for you. If you want to create a table that looks great and amuse yourself for hours folding more napkins than you could ever hope to use at dinner parties, this is the book for you.About 2/3 of the book is taken up with very gradual step by step directions on how to fold napkins. The remaining is good, if not overly specific advice about dining and entertaining. The inside is more colourful than the formal cover suggests, and it really has some cute folds such as elf booties and hearts, or birds of paradise, but also elegant ones for the most formal dinner party.The only critizism I have is that the photos are taken from opposite, so when the instructions say 'right' the hands in the picture are going left..a little confusing until you learn to follow the instructions, not necessarily the photos.Overall, a lovely if not overly serious/important book to have in your collection.
