Product was delayed a couple days, promised on Wed., then Thursday, but finally arrived Friday. Cardboard box/container was lightweight & VERY DAMAGED on every corner; ends were "compromised" so badly...product could be seen inside on both shorter sides of outer container...was well reinforced with tape along longer side of cardboard box which held it together (box was so flimsy, if frame had been damaged in transit 1st time, that upon return, it surely would have been destroyed). Surprisingly, there was NO damage to frame, it had sturdy protection on each corner and tightly sealed in durable plastic...although intend for other use...the picture inside was gorgeous...(thinking about taking picture and inside 'mat', gluing & using mat as frame & mounting picture, using mat as 'frame - it's that pretty).

After reading several of the previous reviews, I knew I was taking a chance on this frame. I'm glad I did! The frame arrived quickly, and packed in the original frame box within a larger box, with no cushioning or padding. Fortunately, mine arrived perfectly intact, but I could see how it wouldn't take much careless handling to damage it. (If the shipping included just a little cushioning between the boxes, it is likely that more frames would arrive to their destination intact.) All that aside, it really is a beautiful, classic, and sturdy frame, much nicer than the cheap, plastic-looking frames that sell for just a few dollars less at the big-box stores. While you may be taking a chance on the arrival condition with the current shipping practices, if it arrives intact like mine did, odds are that you will be very pleased with the frame.

Very nice frame. The 24 x 36 poster fits perfectly. The plexiglass does get a glare if the frame is placed where light will directly hit it. That’s to be expected. HOWEVER, the packaging seems to be too flimsy to allow the frames to arrive undamaged. There are corner protectors, but they are very thin and can break and allow the frame to be damaged in transit. One frame had a small bit of damage, which I was able to deal with. The second frame had a crack in the plexiglass, a scraped corner and a shattered area on the side, which lined up with damage to the shipping box. Maybe the company is saving money on not using sturdy boxes and considers replacing the frames a lower expense than using more expensive boxes.To add insult to injury, I had a terrible time getting the replacement taken care of with Amazon.UPDATE. Ordered another frame to replace the damaged one. It never arrived. Amazon said it may be lost. The shipper says it is probably too damaged. Smashed Banana has the worst packaging of anything I have ever ordered. I had to order from them again since I need it to match the original one, which wasn’t perfect either. Keeping my fingers crossed that this one arrives in good condition.

I'm not sure why there's so many bad reviews for these frames, but the ones I received were great! They arrived in prefect condition and look nice. I ordered mine for two 18×24 puzzles I wanted to frame. You can't beat the price on these frames if you want an 18x24 with mat frame. I highly recommend.

I recently moved and needed somewhere to show my pictures that had been put away for years. I ordered these two frames to hang in my new house. they cam nicely wrapped almost 6 month ago so I didn't open them until today when I finally had time to make a collage. unfortunately the front plastic screens are marked, scratched, cloudy and are broken in 2 places. I know that I am over the return time but these frames are unusable in the condition of the fronts plastic. please tell what to do.

I understand that occasionally items arrive that are damaged in shipping, but how can anyone think this frame is "cheap" or "junk"? Between the good reviews and the bad, I didn't know what to expect but I ordered anyway.Wow. Was I ever surprised! The frame arrived inside a braced cardboard sleeve in a solid cardboard crate. All corners were secured by additional protection.I was also surprised by the heft. This frame is not flimsy. The backing is solid and will handle several adjustments over the years. The acrylic is gorgeous, crystal clear, substantial and the removable coating covers both sides. The frame itself looks and feels like solid wood.Am I ever pleased with the completed project! I'm only sorry I waited so long to order out of fear I'd have to return it. This was money well spent.

Overall a pretty good frame for the price. However I did have issues with one of the overall corners. This resulted in the poster not sitting flush with the back. I didn't want to go through a return on it, so I used duct tape to seal it in. You can't see it or anything, but I was just disappointed somewhat overall.

Easy to hang

Don't forget to peel off the film from both sides of the plexi. At first i thought the quality was opaque and terrible, but then i remembered seeing something about removing film, and voila! Perfectly clear, lightweight and frugally priced.

Framing was thicker than expected, but correct mat size and frame. Unfortunately, the frame itself arrived with dents.

Love this- I usually go to IKEA for my frames but this is a great competitor! Sturdy and looks more than I paid.

I have purchased a number of sizes from different manufacturers for puzzle framing in the last 6 months.This is by far the strongest construction-wise. The puzzle pieces stay intact and locked in place.Cheers,Bill
