This bowl does not work for pugs.Pugs are evil geniuses with short snouts. My pug couldn't get the food at all, and she proceeded get angry. Started to growl like she's was on bath salts... loudly, i mean she considers this bowl her ultimate nemesis.Finally she grabbed the bowl in her jaws and proceeded to slam it down so the food went flying all over the kitchen... then she ate it...... the bowl... she started eating the bowl. Brought it to her bed growling and started to begin destroying it.Now she's destroying the kitchen... whatever she can... because there could be food hidden when it all went flying....it's a madhouse.... A MAD HOUSE!

I had a severe problem with my dog just gulping down his food and then just laying around for an hour or so (probably bloated)! This dish stopped that immediately, he eats slower (because he has too) than just does whatever he wants! No more laying down looking miserable! I liked the dish so much that I bought one for my Grandson’s dog because she has the same problem & she is also better with this bowl!!!NOW, I wish they would come out with a set of bowls one for water & one for food and a stand to put them in, that would be perfect! I have had this bowl for months and my dog still loves it, still eats slower so no bloating! He even leaves a few pieces in the bowl once in awhile and eats them later!

This dish is amazing, orange circular pattern. I have a 15 LBS yorkie poo that will gobble down his food in seconds with a standard dog bowl. This bowl takes his meal time to 5+ minutes. It has also helped to eliminate he constipation issues he had from gobbling.He hasn't figured out how to tip it over yet (knock on wood) we have been using it for about 8 months. Also if your dog has a short muzzle this one or the purple flowerish one will work the best as the pattern isn't as deep as it is in the blue circle Outward-hound one (we bought that one a Costco and it is very deep in the center).

Nice bowl but my cat couldn’t get his mouth into the slots to get to his food. Tried it for a few days before giving up. If anybody knows how this is supposed to work, please share...maybe me and my cat need lessons. 😬

I am sure this would work well for small dogs such as mini poodles schnauzers Pomeranian Etc, unfortunately I did not realize how small the Bowl and the grooves would be, We have a large Catahoula leopard dog, and she can almost fit The Whole Bowl in her mouth, so did not work for me, but would probably be great for owners of small dogs..

We love this bowl!! It is a little smaller than we expected but it is working wonderfully. Instead of feeding our American Bulldog one huge serving a day, we now feed him 2-3 in his maze bowl. It's slowed down his eating tremendously, which in turn has helped with some of his stomach issues. I would recommend this bowl!

Love these bowls. I got 2 of them for my chihuahua rescue dogs that both ate there food in 30 seconds. With these bowls, it now takes them about 5 minutes. Was concerned they would be too big for them, but they are perfect and even though they only get 1/4c food at a time they work great. Definitely room for larger amounts of food if you have a larger dog. Mine are only 10lbs.

I just got it and it came with a little broken clip where the no slip pads are inserted. Not a big deal just annoying. The bowl looks nice and hold exactly 2 cups of food.
