Great to have a supply
Got the package and just a couple of three things to say on the cheese. Tastes OK yes, didn't realise they come in 4 blocks of 28 slices in each block. No separate liners. So keep in mind if you need to store this as I have done, half in the fridge and half in the freezer. The fridge half I put into a Tupperware container so they keep better and don't go stale and stick to the fridge shelf. The other half will come out to defrost when I need more. I'll let you know if this wasn't a good idea! Hopefully will be OK. Long sale buy date till December 2021, came well wrapped in a foil bubble wrap and still cool when arrived. Time will tell...

Great cheese slice
This is the closest I have found to the old Kraft cheese slice. Sadly missed as all others look glossy and half the weight is the plastic coating. These are packed beautifully and separate easily. Nice tangy cheese flavour and melt onto burgers, toasties well.

Looked promising but sadly are disappointing!
After reading the mostly positive reviews I thought I’d give these a try - I’ve been searching for the closest thing to Kraft singles like those used in McDonalds burgers for a while now. Pricing-wise for the amount you get is good. From the lack of individual wrapping it seems these were designed originally for restaurants and other establishments selling food in higher volumes, which is fine especially when peeling each slice away from the stack is easy to do. Plus, less plastic used is always good! Many reviews mentioned that they melt nicely and have a good flavour to them, however some stated that there is an unpleasant saltiness that overpowers the tangy cheese flavour you are looking for. I have to say that unfortunately I agree with the latter and that the saltiness ruins it for me, although I could only notice it enough to not like it when I tried a little melted on its own. In wraps they are ok, seem to harden back up pretty quick compared to other processed cheeses I’ve tried which is disappointing when you enjoy the gooeyness they are so famous for. Haven’t tried them on burgers yet but I have a feeling that they won’t be much (if at all) better than what I have already had them with, again disappointing when there’s not a lot out there on the market that is accessible to the UK.Most likely case now is that I’ll stick to buying Co-op and Lidl cheese singles, which by the way are very good for UK cheese single standards. They have a good melting and stay gooey in wraps etc, however literally the only downside to those singles is the lack of cheesey flavour that places like McDonalds have in theirs. Overall it is very likely that I won’t be buying these again, my advise to anyone curious is that it isn’t worth the £14 to see if you’d like them when you can get overall better product from places close to home at much lower amounts and therefore prices.TLDR;- Price is good for the amount you get: 112 (smaller than normal) slices for £14 is competitive with store own brands.- Flavour is more towards saltier side on its own, not pleasant in my opinion.- Melted texture and consistency does not beat the creamier ones of UK store-bought cheese singles (Co-op and Lidl are the best I’ve had).- Haven’t tried them in burgers, mac & cheese, etc so not sure if they’d fare better. They probably won’t though.- Not worth the £14 to see if I’m wrong.

Not what I ordered
This is the third time I have bought these and they have been super for easy peel onto burgers. This last package was not easy peel and when we looked at the package it said, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free.I will be needing 3 more packs in about a week can you guarantee that they will be the original cheese slices that are easy peel and definitely not vegan!

Disappointing... No Flavour
Initially I was very disappointed as the cheese is quite flavourless. Straight out of the pack cold you could describe the flavour as nothing... With a hint of salt! It's slightly harder than your supermarket individually wraped cheese but not a whole lot, it is also slightly smaller again not a huge amount. Also it's provided in a frustatingly long unwieldy package. I was ready to throw it in the bin tbh but after reading up a little more about American cheeses in general and having tried this cheese melted in a toastie I'll pass final judgement on it once I've tried it on a burger; The redeeming factor here being the texture and the fact it remains gooey when melted where other cheeses would become completely liquid. With condiments and everything on top, it might yet still make a decent burger. But if you are going for a tasty, tangy obviously cheesy tasting cheese, then this is NOT it.

Great cheese, well delivered
Very pleased with these, they taste great, very close to McDonald’s cheese but slightly better in my opinionPackage arrived extremely quickly and well packaged. They were wrapped in a foil blanket and even tho it has been 25-27 degrees everyday for the past few days, they were still cold.Best before date it 5 months away so they will definitely be gone by then!Very happy, will be buying again

They changed something
Used to be a decent option when you couldn’t get Kraft type singles. My recent order tastes so much different now. Already has a weird smell just from opening the pack. It’s a very odd soapy/cleaning product smell. Obviously doesn’t taste like “cheese” anymore. Sad. Used to be 4 stars compared to the tasteless options in the UK.
