There's not a whole lot you can say about a drain plug gasket! There are plenty of them to get me through several years of gearcase lube changes which is good; the gaskets are not available everywhere that you can actually get the gear case lube.These gaskets are similar material on the ones from Mercury. I feel very confident these will do the job well next season.I definitely recommend them.

As a responsible boat owner and year-round fisherman, I typically change the oil in my lower unit at least twice a year, sometimes thrice. Most of the time when I buy gaskets (which you should change every time you change the oil) they come in 2 or 4 packs. Finally someone said, "Hey, I wonder if boat-owners will buy a larger multipack?" The answer for me is, "Yes, we will!" Thanks!

These gaskets are well-made with quality synthetic material. The gaskets sit securely on the drain plug and have a very good seal on the lower unit. These gaskets are not reusable once they are compressed/crushed.

These are decent gaskets, made for the screw or screws you turn out to drain and then replace the lube in your sterndrive. I keep the old screws, wipe them clean, replace the gasket, and reinstall.Just make sure you order the correct ones for your setup.
