Admittedly I'm not the keenest for DIY but I can change a plug and put up a shelf so I thought this shouldn't be beyond me.First problem was not having a torx screwdriver to take the door apart - so I borrowed one.Next problem was removing the pin which was tightly jammed and had no way of gaining purchase without thin pliers.Then putting the door back on is a two person job because the door needs to be held in place while the first screws are put back.It comes with no instructions and the videos I could find online were completely useless - shame the previous reviewers didn't include a link to the ones they say were helpful. However, if you pay attention when you're taking it apart it's not complicated to put it back together - just awkward.

great price for a common repair, if i hadn't been in a rush to pull the old one out i would of took a photo of the old one as it took me ages to work out which way it all went back together so my best tip is make sure you know how to put it back together! perfect fit though and works exactly as the old one did.

exactly as it says on the tin but beware...take a picture of the latch before you dismantle it as this has been designed by the devil to confuse and irritate! something that should be so simple took me 45 min. It fits in a way that is just not logical until you fit it right then it suddenly becomes an oh right moment but does make you feel good when completed! lol

Part is exact match for broken handle except it's grey. Fairly simple to fit if you pay attention and take a few photos prior to removing original. Note that handle will not operate until cover of the door is reassembled as spring need to push against other side of door. I did not realise this and spent 30 minutes wondering what I had done wrong.

I used a screwdriver for years to open my washing machine door until I found this part on amazon..I stripped my door and reassembled with this new catch now my door opens at last!!

Product was fit for purpose. No instructions or diagram to explain how to fit. Advice-is it easy enough to fit if search on the internet there are forums with advice and a couple of youtube videos. Easy enough once you know how, but be prepared to persevere!
