An excellent rice substitute.
I am strict keto amd have tried many, many pasta/rice substitues and this brand is by far my favorite. I love the rice textured one best. To be honest, it does not have the texture of real rice. It is much softer but it is more than just acceptable. I do two things to insure a better taste. First, I rinse this pasta very, very well. It comes out of the package with a floral, almost perfume like smell that I find unpalatable. Rinsing it thoroughly removes that scent. Secondly, I simmer it in a non-stick pan until all that moisture is removed. If you simmer it too long, the rice-like kernels start to shrink up. Finally, I then add whatever broth or sauce I am using with the meal and simmer the pasta and sauce first a bit to allow the “rice” to absorb almost all of the liquid to flavor it. If I do these steps, the rice shaped pasta comes out very good. Not as delicious as real rice, to be certain, but I think it is the best rice substitue I have tried.

Easy and tasty!
Easy to use. Tastes great and is filling. Makes having fried rice again a diet option! I like the 'rice' best of their options although the noodles are fine as well.

3 pack are made of plastic
This is the 3rd time I order this item, and I was frustrated this time, the three packs that i open was made of plastics.. so I decided to email and they said they will refund my payment.. the one on the bowl and the 2 on the top of the bowl

Love it and it’s healthy low calories
Love this rice. Cooked as insurrections listed but added my seasoned for flavor.

Half of the bags were great
The packages that were rice shaped were great. But half of them were dry, and shaped like shredded sponge. I’d only get it again if I didn’t only get 3 good bags. They definitely need better quality control.

One of my favorite types of shirataki, but short time to expiration date
I've tried a lot of different brands and styles of shirataki pasta and these are a favorite. (I do factor in price when shopping, and haven't tried the more expensive brands.) This one is a good value. I like the addition of a little oat fiber, which makes the taste and texture a little more like "real" pasta. I buy these and the fettuccine style regularly. My only complaint is that so far, the expiration dates are very soon after arrival, so I don't stock up as much as I would otherwise. That's more of an issue with the seller, so I'm not taking points off the rating of the product.

It's Not Rice, but Close Enough
I was a little nervous about trying this out, but I haven't found anything that closely matches rice without the carbs.A fair warning, this rice substitute takes some prep work before it's edible. You have to wash it very very well, like give it a good 15 seconds under the sprayer on your faucet at full pressure. Do it correctly and it will not smell or taste like the fluid it was suspended in.Then you have to dry it out. This means to drain in the collander, and spread it out on a cooking sheet and let it dry out for 15-20 minutes before heating and serving. It'll get a more rice like texture if you do it this way than use paper towels, and you'll not lose any. Otherwise it's "bouncy" with a rubber like texture similar to tapioca.
