10/10 would recommend 👌🏻Wore this for a month (vs an airboot) after fracturing ankle in 2 places (on a non weight bearing bone). Main selling point was the soft bottom allowing for easier walking up/down stairs in our 2 story house. It keeps your ankle steady enough to facilitate healing while being much easier to actually hobble around.Used this in conjunction with Schwartz bone strength and Life Extension bone restore vitamins daily and a comfrey ointment (all purchased on amazon) and the 4 week follow-up was entirely positive 👍🏻The only downside throughout was that the initially very strong velcro started to be less great towards the end of week 4, but I think that's to be expected considering I was in this thing all day every day and removing/replacing it about 3-4 times daily either to use the comfrey ointment or for sleep.

Great brace. Easy to use. The velcro lasts a long time and the brace provides great lateral support while leaving your ankle free to flex properly. The stretchy fabric also allows for foot/ankle swelling if that's an issue

Love the brace it’s comfortable and I can wear all day. The rigid sides provide the support I need and the flexible fabric around the foot lets me wear with my shoes and sandals. Also the cost is very reasonable. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the Velcro. I have neuropathy in my hands and they are weak. It is VERY DIFFICULT to separate the straps when putting on or taking off. I hope that with more use it will be easier. I had to cut the strap on the last one. But I purchased another because of all the other positive things I liked. Also why only black? Other color options so can coordinate with my wardrobe would be awesome!

After 2.5 months of no walking due to an ankle break. I was cleared to wear a boot or brace while doing PT. I got this brace so it had extra support on the sides. I have a hard time with swelling so I had to make sure it was secured not too tight or too loose. It is a tight fit when putting on a regular tennis shoes which is to be expected. The Velcro works great but I could see after several uses it would wear down. It provided the exact amount of support I needed to be able to walk normal. Loved it

Not stable and made the pain worse

Wonderful brace. Perfect fit on my daughter. Easy and fast to put on and remove. Works well with bandages on her ankle, too. Gave better protection, support and softer cushioning inside the brace than other store quality ankle braces i purchased. She says it's much more comfortable too. Tysm!

Very difficult to put on regardless how many times I read instructions and watched video clip. In addition it did not provide the support needed. The quality is subpar, and returned for a refund.

I purchased this item when I sprained my ankle and had to travel to Europe. Unlike prior similar items that I tried that were too tall for my leg, and involved too bulky plastic splits on each side of my leg that didn't fit into even my largest sneakers, this splint by Dr. Welland actually works. It isn't too tall up your leg, and while the plastic splints protect your ankle on both sides, and do, of course, involve some bulk into your sneakers, it is about as minimal as I think is feasible. I wore this while trekking around about 20 museums and on cobblestone streets. It was comfortable, and gave me a sense of security as I navigated uneven sidewalks, cobblestones, and unforgiving marble museum floors over a 1 week trip. I highly recommend this item. It's easy to get on and off. For reference, I am a Petite woman, 5'2", I wear a size 6 women's sneaker and I purchased a size Small ankle brace.
