I was expecting the thin soft leggings, however this is fleece and it will be great for cold winter.

Warm and comfortable. Easy to layer or wear by themselves.

My third pair, I live in these during the winter. Beyond comfy, the waist is not tight or binding. And they are, flattering to boot. They don't stretch out of the knees or butt, and they are thick enough to provide some warmth and smooth out any irregularities that non-models might have on thighs or bottom. They feel very cozy and they wash exceedingly well. No pilling either. Last but not least, I don't even have to change into street clothes to go run errands. They work as well as leggings out in public as they do as comfy "housies." I would not wear these as leggings under a skirt simply because they have a velour-like surface and they'd probably hang up on the skirt in annoying ways, but they can't be beat on their own. I find them true to size.

This is fleece so it is NOT windproof so not for outdoor winter wear in MN -that is if you're going to be outside for any length of time. You'd need outer layer shell pants - like Gortex) The fleece does not offer much support on its own. I wear my thigh high compression hose underneath to get that "held-in feeling". The fleece does lay smoothly, no bunching. As others have said, they are long. They look good and feel good layered on top of my thigh highs worn with my skirts. The two layers (compression hose & fleece) gives extra warmth makes them good for running errands in winter, being in and out of the car & stores. You have to wear a long top that goes over your crotch as the cut is immodest. Essentially, on their own, these are pajama bottoms.

Love these! I have many leggings as I broke my leg and they helped under my full leg brace. These are by far the best. Soft and comfortable, great fit. I ordered a second one!

Bought these for a trip to iceland and they were SO WARM. Pleasantly surprised at how nice they are!

I bought a pair of these in a store a couple of years ago in size large and loved them, but they were really too large for me, almost falling off (rare!). So when I saw these online looking identical, I ordered a pair in medium. They are skin tight! They also came in a plastic bag rather than the cardboard retail packaging the first pair had when purchased in a store. I don’t know if these were a knock off, or if their sizing is just that unreliable. Of course, it was already too late to exchange them for a bigger size, so I’ll just have to buy another pair next season.

I ordered a large size, because I have an older pair the same size with a different type elastic waistline that fit perfectly. I love the length of these and every other aspect of the product (stretch, softness), but THIS elastic waist was too big for me (I am not a large person) and wasn't easily fixable. For a heavier person, they may fit just fine.
