Cpap motor
Cpap machine works better now after changing the motor. Perfec fit for the resmed Airsense 10. Just as quiet now with new motor as when I purchased the unit brand new.

Don’t do what I did!
I was out all day. I got in late. I was trying to rush through installing the motor. I put it in backwards. Just make sure you pay attention when you’re reinstalling the new motor. It’s very quiet and works great. I could not be happier.

Successful motor swap in a ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet
My CPAP started suddenly making lots of LOUD noise @ 11,724 hrs and almost 5 years of use. The general consensus on the Internet is the machine is suffering from "pneumatic block" failure and the motor/blower needs to be replaced. I figured I'd try a $100 fix attempt before trashing it since it's out of warranty. The new motor arrived in Excellent packaging. Lots of Youtube videos on doing motor swaps on AirSense 10s, I found the Aussie guy's videos the most helpful and thorough of those I watched. Video is pretty easy to follow and the swap is easy if you're the least bit mechanically inclined. Need a Torx t-10 drive and maybe a small flat blade screwdriver to pry the plastic covers with.Despite changing filters regularly, the "guts" of my machine were pretty filthy with dust. I took all the plastic and silicone parts around the motor and washed them good with soapy water using a toothbrush, then wiped them down and allowed to air dry.Reassembly was straightforward and easy enough, however the CPAP didn't work right the first time I reassembled it. The "auto-start" and "auto-stop" feature didn't work. It wouldn't detect my breathing, and once it was started manually, it wouldn't shut off when there was a leak, it would just keep running. I figured there was an orifice somewhere that monitors pressure that was blocked or not assembled correctly. So I took everything apart for a second time, double checked the cleanness of all the parts, inspected the silicone parts with the small orifices and gave puffs of air to make sure everything was clean and clear of debris. Upon reassembly the second time, everything worked like it should.I've used it for a few nights now and it seems to provide the correct amount of pressure/air. I sleep good and I don't get any warnings or sad faces on my data screen. The motor does have a tiny amount of noise associated with it, it's not quite as quiet as it was when the machine was new. If I was to compare it, I'd say it sounds like a machine that's been in use for a year or two. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being perfectly quiet, I'd give this motor a 7.5-8. It's plenty quiet enough for me to use and IMO, well worth the $100 bucks to bring life back to my old machine. I hope I can get another 4-5 years out of this motor. Either way, I'll keep swapping motors until the electronics give up the ghost.

perfect replacement, dead silent, easy DIY job
literally took me no more than 30 minutes and that was taking my time going along with a youtube vid slowly. I could do it again without the vid now in probably 6-8 minutes if I wanted to. dead simple. look up youtube user "CPAP Reviews" for a vid titled "ResMed Motor Replacement Guide - Motor Life Exceeded?!" and he'll walk you thru it. just pay close attention to the little details and dont skip anything. it's simple. the unit was just tested, dead silent (except the expected whooshing of air, not gonna eliminate that) but the whining noise from the old motor is now gone thank gawwwwwd finally lol. i may just buy another 1 or 2 to have on hand for the future perhaps idk. maybe. buy with confidence it's a perfect lil motor and a easy surgery on the machine no worries.

Great Replacement Motor, Better Price!
Purchased when my 5 year old Airsense 10 motor began making noises. Looked for a replacement and was disappointed to see they were $300. Found this one on Amazon, and am I glad I did.The motor was well packaged and delivered with no problems or damage. Replacement was easy to follow (I'm pretty handy though) with a YouTube video that was conveniently accessible by a QR code on an included card.Go ahead and buy one for yourself. You won't be disappointed, and you'll be able to sleep again!

Not worth it
After about an hour of reading through instructions to remove the old motor and install the new one, upon adding power the motor sped up (faster than required) then stopped. After trying to remove power and attempt to restart, motor failed to work.Don't waste your time.
