Organic Jujube 1kg – Sun-Dried, Raw-Food, Vegan & Untreated Red Date Berries

I love jujubes, aka red dates. They're reputed to have health benefits, and they also taste good, like a sweet and sour date. Not as sickly sweet as regular dates, which they're not related to, and with a slightly sour, bitter edge. These are great quality, plump and not overdried.

This is the first time I have tried jujube fruit. Read a lot about it and supposed to be good for health and helps with anxiety, don't know about that yet as I have only been eating them for two days. I did read somewhere this morning that 3 jujube fruit a day, keeps the doctor away. I hope so. They came in a sturdy resealable bag but for ease I have bought a supermarket resealable box to keep them in the fridge. They are very lightweight so you can see you get a lot for 1 kg.

Dry and tasteless

The dates are very good, did not regret buying kilo because I have split into smaller bags to gift to friends. Personally, I have bought jujube from xinjiang, China directly from vendors at the market along the silk road route and these are at the same level in terms of quality (of course, a little bit more pricey). always happy to pay a bit more for organic!

Great product, I use them for making Chinese soup, they tasted the same as the types I used to get in Chinese shops, which i cant get to any more because of Covid. Being able to buy this online is great.

Excellent product for health purposes

I bought a bag of these several months ago and it was superb. However, this batch is absolutely full of fruits that have had worms living in them and that have gone off due to that. I can't believe this is from the same company, no quality control or what?! Terrible, terrible, terrible quality... Literally 8 from every 10 of them are inedible. Please don't waste your money and look elsewhere. Take my word for it!
