Q: What is the inside diameter?

Its about 1.75". I measured it with a ruler. It is not 2".

Q: This might be an odd question...but would this work to secure a 1.0 inch drain hose for a washer?

I doubt this would secure the outlet if you are trying to use it to prevent it from popping out under pressure. The diameter of the base is just under 2". It is loose if you use a 2" hole saw. If your outlet house is the standard inverted "u" and hold into a PVC pipe then I would just use a zip tie around the two pipes.

They are plastic but fairly flexible.

Q: Is this grommet available in 1.5” size?

Didnt see any. This was the smallest I found. Found others larger.
