Juven Therapeutic Nutrition Drink Powder Including Collagen Peptides, Amino Acids, and HMB For Wound Healing Support, Unflavored, 30 Packets

I had surgery in July 2025. A few weeks later we noticed a small area was closed but the ‘bed’ (my doctor’s term for the bottom layers of the skin) was not healing. We tried different methods to promote the healing of that area to no avail including a wet to dry bandage. In September we decided to do a debridement. After the debridement, it looked as if it was healing well. Approximately three weeks later, it became infected on the inside which caused it to reopen. I then went to a wound care clinic. This clinic is part of a major, well known, top rated, specialty hospital that works with high risk patients of which I am a patient. They had me pack the wound with medicated gauze every other day. They also suggested that I drink two packets of Juven daily and eat lots of protein. It has been one month, the wound is now healed. Each staff member who examined me during my visits was convinced that the Juven played a major part of the healing. The difference between my first and second visit was clearly visible and it improved from week to week. They suggested that I continue it for two more weeks but I have been cleared to continue further treatments. I bought the fruit punch flavor and mixed it with 8 ounces water. The taste was fine for me. I drank it without food, between breakfast and lunch and then between dinner and bedtime. If I have another surgery, my intention will be to use Juven to help the healing process. Pricey? Yes. But we are all worth every penny. I bought these for my son after he had a toe surgery. Within less than a week, his wound was healed and no pain. Seemed like it scabbed over and started healing within a day or two. A little pricey but totally worth it! Taste is good as well!

This just made a huge price jump across all platforms, but I can speak from personal and professional experience when I say that this product, taken twice per day, makes wounds heal faster. I personally prefer the unflavored version, fruit punch is my next favorite, orange is my third. I'm a nurse and use this for my patients with significant wounds to improve their rate of healing and I haven't had it let me down once. My patients don't mind the taste and tolerate it well. If you are struggling with a slow healing wound, this is WELL WORTH the cost.

Helped tremendously after my surgery, I bought it 2xs. The taste wasn’t that great, but it wasn’t awful. Healed my incisions wonderfully and helped my nails and hair grow as a plus.

I love the taste of the fruit punch Juven, I take these daily to aid in recovery after my surgery. I just wish they were cheaper! They truly help though.

I recently had surgery and my abdominal incision started getting the dissolvable internal stitches poking through. I guess for some reason, some people's bodies will reject them and will force them out of the body. When this happened to me I would have openings in my incisions where the stitches were coming through about 1/8 of an inch sometimes a little bigger and they were not healing over even though I've kept the wound covered with gauze. I had read on Reddit that some surgeons had suggested the Juven powder drink to help in healing so I thought I'd try it. After the first week, it had started to heal and by the time I had finished the second package it was completely healed. I purchased the pineapple coconut and after mixing it up in a cup I added enough water to equal about 12 oz and then I added a lot of ice and stirred it up and drank this throughout the day and then in the late afternoon I whipped up another one and drank it so I would get the full daily dose as suggested by the manufacturer. Adding the extra water helped the taste for me and I didn't mind it at all. In fact I kind of missed it now that it's all gone but it's so expensive that I can't afford to buy more. I would just drink it for health if I could afford it. Come on Abbott, reduce the price so more people can afford this. Most people in the United States are already suffering financially, we should be able to afford something that aids in our health without breaking the bank.

not sure if these really helped, but psychologically, felt like I was doing something and dr. recommended. The plain drink tastes terrible. I added mio type water flavor enhancer to make it tolerable, so in doing this you can make it any flavor you want. I prefer the orange flavored, while slightly more expensive, tastes much better.

This product is brilliant. Will be purchasing again.
