My husband and I bought these for our phones as opposed to a fixed stand. You do not have to have a pelican case on your phone for this to connect. The magnet is strong and the stand can be used in a variety of positions for ease of use. My favorite feature is the bottle opener !

I love the case. I’ve dropped my phone several times and never saw any issues. I do how ever wish the magnets where stronger and that the back of the case was flush with the cameras because as it is right now it won’t rest on my cars wireless charger properly.

I have bought multiple of this same grip. The magnetic strength secures very well to the phone. It adds another grip option and looks great as well. Plus, who hasn't been somewhere and realized they could really use a bottle opener? Problem solved.

Good product and a tough one however it loosens with time and usage.

I have had other pelican items in the past and I know those items are quality, durable and when I receive it is a quality item and has lasted till this day solid magnet no worry that it’s not going to be there or fumbling around in my pocket. Definitely has weight to it but that’s expected. Same as the stand feature very sturdy and as for the bottle opener it’s a convenient and is functional

I was initially excited for this ring. I use a Pelican MagSafe case already, and rely on Pelican as a quality brand. However, they have absolutely not engineered any sort of quality product here. The ring continuously falls off my phone and shifts around. The hinge point of the ring is already becoming loose and unstable after only a week of use. It’s sad that Pelican would allow its quality to slide so far. I’ll be hunting for a new product that actually performs as advertised.

Bought this a couple months ago, and it has been great. It serves its function very well, however it has loosened up as it was to be expected. If i have it in the fully closed position it opens about a 1/8". I now have to open it more than usual to get the right angle when propping my phone.

This thing is solid, heavier than it looks, and well built. The ring's hinge is tighter than other rings I've tried. The only nit-picking I have is that the ring is smaller than the base so not easy to fold the ring out one handed, but I'll take that problem over a floppy, noise ring.
