Superb value for money DVD collection of the greats of yesteryear, when bodybuilders could pose with artistry and grace and not a pregnant, bubble gut in sight. Aesthetic legends of the sport captured at their best.

Loads of quality training footage of the champs grunting and straining under heavy weights. Gyms back then were often real sweat pits, where hard work was done and muscles forged like iron into steel so that the contestants went to the stage battle ready. I might watch this again. Loads of legends on this

Great value for money,lots of viewing hours.

Some rare bodybuilding contest footage from the past is collected here at a most reasonable price. Much dates from 30 to 35 years ago, pre-digital so allowances have to be made for the visual quality but there are lots of close-ups of the posing routines and the three pre-contest workout and interview films are well done and include some female competitors. Rare footage of Bob Birdsong, Vic Richards, Edwardo Kawak and Sergio Oliva adds interest.

I have all these on Video and wanted them on DVD, i now have these and love them, brings back the memories of the 1980's when i was really into my body building. Excellent quality dvd's with chapters, picture quality is great too.

It's interesting watching the posing routines, but you really wish that someone had taken the time to properly chapter and menu this DvD so you can skip to you favourite bodybuilder like Bob Paris or Shawn Ray etc.As it is, its like playing videotapes again, after a while it becomes tough watching the posing routines after 60 mins +.The sad part of this DvD is that a number of the competitors featured died young, including Mike Mattarazzo featured on the front cover.

A must have for anyone with any liking at all, for the iron game. All the 'golden age' heroes are here.And the running time! Not even the hint of a complaint here. There are hours of watching pleasure.A bargain ten times over.
