I think the quality for the price is spot on. My cat, however has these issues:The box — while plenty large enough for her (she's a small full grown cat), she's only visit once. I don't know why.The two tiers are awkward for her to jump from one to another as they don't stagger.The two tiers are small and without a "lip"I think she prefers the "security" of the side arms or at least a larger place to sprawl — that's all I can figure. Maybe save this one for a young kitten who hasn't been spoiled by an alternate climber.What I do like about it is that it's a real space saver and it's very light (to move around). My cat does like the scratch posts and once I removed the top tier — and slightly altered the design/placement of the 2nd tier — she will use it on occasion.This design would also be easily modified, is easy to put together and take down. I'll probably modify it to make it work better for my particular cat.I have no complaints for the manufacturer.

Wasn't expecting this to be so nice or so sturdy! Totally happy with it. I did make one revision though...instead of putting on the very top shelf, I left it off and just used the same kinds of screws that were used for the other shelf and condo. My picky little Emma, who is 9# 1 ounce is in it as I write and looking very content. Too cute! Highly recommend this tree.UPDATE : After having this up for a few days, I decided that I wanted to add the top shelf for Emma to see if she'd like it. It turned out to be a good and bad idea. When I put it on, it made the whole thing unstable. If I even touched the shelf, it seemed like it would tip over. Not happy about that at all. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 only because if there are people who wanted to build only half of it as I had at first, it would be OK for that. Those are the ONLY ones I would recommend this tree for. I returned it. The base is just not big enough to support the height in this design.

Easy to assemble. The carpeted parts aren't padded, so I have to add a folded towel or bed to the shelves so kitty feels some comfort. The sisal posts are great - the kitten went right for them and knew what to do with them! The top shelf is really high and a little shaky - kitty doesn't really like staying up there. The middle shelf is much more sturdy and is the favorite perch. The "hidey-hole" is not really of interest to kitten, since she likes to be out and in the mix instead of hiding away...

It's very well made. But I think it's more for a little kitty. My cat is 3 years old, and he's kinda fat and very furry and he can't really fit in that little section like a house, also it's very tricky for him to move from 1 section to another. He has to jump all the way down on the floor and then get to the section that he wants, cause sections are like equal to each other in mean that one section goes right parallel to the top one. It's hard for a cat to get from the top section to the lower one, he fells down :/

We ordered this a year ago and have been very happy with it. When I ordered it I wanted something that didn't take up too much floor space. This has been just what I wanted. We have a 14 lb cat and it has worked great. It took him a bit to get used to it/ or decide he like it. We did put a small table next to it at first to help him get up and down since the levels are directly over each other. But now he will jump up and down without the table with no problem. It is very sturdy and has held up great. Still looks like new.

Amazing for the price!My cat loves it!The only downside is that they provide rounded head screws for the bottom which makes it a bit unstable. That can be fixed buy a quick trip to the hardware store for flat headed screws or by putting the tree on a rug or towel and putting an old textbook (or other heavy object) at the base (which I did until I made the trip).

The price is just right. However, the platforms are nearly right on top of one another so my cat can't step from one to another easily. Thus, I had to jimmy-rig mine slightly so that the platforms are more like steps. My cat is very small so it works fine but for a larger cat it wouldn't be stable enough. Very easy to assemble! My cat loves the ropes on the poles!

I needed a smaller cat tree and this fits but the cat is not that interested in it. I'm happy with the size but think she would have liked a larger one. Also was not happy with the length of time it took to get it. Instructions were clear on how to put it together and had the tool to do that.
