Easy to Install and setup-great picture and functionality
This is a great camera. It was very easy to set up and install. It comes with a template that you can use to mount it. I have 5 Jidetech cameras this one is my 6th. The others are standard PTZ cameras whereas this one has the 360 lens. I am quite satisfied with the picture and the app that is used to control it. What's important to know about this camera is that it is IP addressable which means it'll work with any third party software for example I use Blue Iris. If you're looking for a camera to give you a wide angle and a 360 view this one would definitely do it. The app is Camhigh pro. It's free and there is no cloud required for saving videos or camera shots. You will need an SD card to access those or a storage device on your computer when using a third party software. There are a lot of very expensive PTZ 360 degree cameras out there. This is reasonably priced and functions very well in the field. Of note my other Jidetech cameras are all outdoors and subject to the Texas heat. After nearly three years they continue to work as new. Also I have had occasion to contact customer service and when I did have a problem with a camera they just replaced it immediately.

Great price on a clear picture PTZ camera!
The media could not be loaded. I'll admit, I have one other JideTech fixed position camera that I have connected to my NVR via ONVIF on a wireless bridge that I liked so much that I tried this camera. Once again, I'm impressed and will order another one of these PTZ's for the house we're building now.I can only attach one video so I chose a night video in MP4 format. It is going from one preset to another at night and then zooming in on a bush. You can see how intense the infrared lights are and some of the spiders that have webs around the camera location. I did have to make a special mount for this camera as you can see. JideTech has a very nice standard mount that comes on this. The base is all metal and the screws insert and then you twist. It's a very secure base if you can simply mount it flush in a location. They also sell a bracket that's shown on their included documentation but it wouldn't work in my case.A couple things, this camera does come with it's own power supply or it can use POE. In the locaiton it's in we are using the enclosed power supply and not using POE. The camera does get warm after use, but has not affected it's use in the 10 days it's been operational. Maybe it's part of an anti-fog system they have as an option on their web interface. You can use this camera as an IPCAM or using the ONVIF protocol which our NVR utilizes. It operates seamlessly with the NVR using ONVIF and the NVR PTZ controls. Everything from Pan, Tilt to Zoom and Focus! I don't seem to have any control over the IRIS but that's not a big deal to me.PROS: Very nice picture.Smooth PTZ and Focus.EASY to use web interface on the device.CONS: Uses IE only, no mac support (thought you can use IETab on a Mac)I wish it could tilt up a little higher almost parallel with the horizon instead of just below it. In otherwords, test it in your location first to make sure you can tilt up high enough if you need to.However this is not going to be a problem for most users. As you can see in the pictures, I have it pointedstraight down to the ground and you can see how high up it is.. About 14'.I would recommend this camera because of it's optical zoom, picture clarity, PTZ functions, infrared intensity and price.

Overall a quality camera for the price. Some settings should already be set by default tho.
Initially changed the onvif discovery port to 8080 in blue iris when setting up so it would pull the correct settings. With all cam settings left alone and nothing changed in blue iris I get a lil yellow triangle in blue iris notifying me of errors (check fps and key rates). Blue iris shows a steady 10fps and an extremely low .12 key frame interval. Frame rate seems to be locked in at 10fps and key frame rate bounces around at a low .1 to .19 causing an alert from blue iris.. After messing with the camera's settings and googling I discovered setting the camera settings>video "max frame rate" and "key frame rate" to 10/10 causes the error to go away in blueiris. Tech support noted that this is a 10fps camera I'm not sure why the settings would allow you to choose anything more especially when it causes errors. These settings should be default also. Also there is a major security issue right outa of the box that could and should be corrected immediately. Camera settings>network> "RTSP Permission Check" should be set to "yes" otherwise ANYONE with access to your network can view this camera's live stream without the correct username/password. This should be set by default but it is not. Knocked 1 star for this alone. If support notifies me they will in the future have this set by default I would gladly change it to 5 stars.Overall a decent camera. Picture is pretty sharp. Pans faster than their older 5mp 2017? model that I have. Haven't taken the cover off to inspect more closely but.. exterior build quality seems solid. Looking through the tinted dome cover the camera internals seems of quality material and over all it seems pretty beefy as far as weight/size. It's not cheapo plastic. All this to say, I actually got this camera for free. Part of the deal was that I write an honest review. My initial review basically blasted them about this one having the same security vulnerability their older models had (access to stream without correct credentials) also the low key frame rate intervals and errors with blue iris. After tech support answered me back about the security vulnerability and showed it was a simple setting that I overlooked that they had already addressed with this newer model I decided to plug it back up and see if I couldn't figure out the blue iris frame rate errors. And I'm glad I did. Value for cost is pretty good. I would definitely recommend it. You are getting a good ptz camera for what you're paying. Only wish the frame rate was higher
