Excellent lotion, perfect for sensitive skinned tattoo enthusiasts
I bought this after running out of the cream I normally use for my tattoos (not a dedicated tattoo lotion, a normal moisturiser for sensitive skin that I’ve had great success with). I wanted to try out a cream made for tattoos specifically, but I have incredibly sensitive skin so I tend to stick to what I know helps soothe my skin without irritation and agonise over any new product because irritating my skin tends to mean steroid creams will be needed. Despite my skin I still have tattoos, in fact my latest is number 29, I tend to take a bit longer to heal and I have a severe life threatening allergy to penicillin so avoiding infection in ky tattoos is of paramount importance. I use Drapolene cream for the first few days as it’s antiseptic but gentle and is a barrier cream, I’ve had no problems with using this so far. Then I decided to buy this lotion for the next healing stage, to keep the tattoo moisturised.Wow oh wow, I will never use anything other than this ever again!! My tattoos tend to get very itchy due to my sensitive skin, but this cream is soothing enough that the itch is dull enough to ignore, I image with people with normal skin it should get rid of itching entirely. It smells deliciously of orange peel and a little goes a long way, it soaks into the skin well and leaves a slight greasiness on the surface, ideal for a fresh tattoo. If using to revive old tattoos use a minute amount so that it all soaks in, leaving no greasiness (I’m also testing on my hand tattoo which tends to get dull when my skin gets dry) and the colour does look brighter.Overall I would recommend this to anyone getting a new tattoo, whether you’re new to tattoos or are already covered head to toe! I would suggest using something else like Tattoo Goo (in the tin) for the first few days as I don’t think this cream is sufficient for that stage, but for after that initial healing it’s spot on

A really great aftercare, I will be buying more!
I had run out of my other aftercare and was using a diffrent balm which wasn't helping my tattoo shed and heal... So I got some of this...This after care... Well what can I say! Its fab! The moment I used it first the smell hit me, it smelt so fresh lovely and clean, as soon and put some on my tattoo it started shedding... Normally I shed within the week, but the other stuff I was using wouldn't budge my scabs...this moistened and loosened the scabs that really needed to come off... My tattoo smelt lovely and from the first application it was smoother and supple and really felt like I was feeding my skin and my new ink really well... I have quite alot of ink and this is probaly the best I have used to date... I will be buying more and recommending it at my studio!

Great product but the dispenser sticks
The cream is great stuff; smells nice, spreads a long way and is really soothing. My only complaint is that the bottle seems to get clogged up regularly and you have to press unreasonably hard to get anything out. If you squeeze a handful of cream out it frees up the bottle again and it flows smoothly for a while.I'll happily buy it again though, especially if they can get that sorted out.

Pleasantly surprised.
Following a discussion with people in the tattoo industry I was advised to stop using a well know nappy rash cream as the ingredients had changed and was now dulling fresh ink. So after much looking I settled on this product due to the amount of good reviews it had. I will never use another tattoo product again. It soothed my new tattoo from the first application, it wasn’t greasy and allowed the skin to breath. It aided and sped up the healing process, with no scabbing. After 7 days my new tattoo was healed using nourish ink, where as it would usually take the best part of 14 days. Can’t recommend this enough.

Perfect for sensitive skin
Very impressed with this tattoo balm. I have extremely sensitive and eczema-prone skin but I’ve applied this 3-4 times a day for the past 2 weeks and I haven’t had a reaction to it. I bought this to use on my first tattoo and am so glad I did, compared to the Aquaphor that I also tried it soaks in much better and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. My skin feels hydrated and the tattoo was almost completely healed after a week! It is definitely worth the money, especially if you suffer from sensitive skin.

Cream Awesome/Dispenser Awful
The cream in my opinion is much better than the known alternative bepenthen. Leaves your skin smooth bit not sticky like others do! My tatoo has healed really well. Only disappointment with this was the dispenser it comes in, around half full and only pumping out air... frustrating. I've got a refund but in the mean timey but no cream!

Best tattoo care iv ever had
I'm so happy with this it's the best tattoo aftercare I have used. I ordered it because I had a large area on my newest tattoo that was scabbed and had been for about a week it wouldn't budge with everything else I had used. As soon as the package arrived I applied it to my tattoo and in less than an hour the scab has started to peel. On another bonus for this product it smells like lemon sherbet which I was supposed about but it just makes it that much better.

Great
Really good stuff... More expensive... Usually I use bepanthem... Tried this... Love it.... Seems to soak in very quick... Bepanthem stays on the skin for hours but can feel uncomfortable all that moisture in certain tattoo areas.... This one is different.... After a little while it looks like its not moisturised at all... Looks as if you need to put more cream on but when you feel the skin you can feel that it's deeply moisturised so don't need to put more...Works great for me... Hard to say if it's better than bepanthem etc... But personally I like not having that heavy sticky feeling of bepanthem
