I haven't actually used it yet, thank goodness. So I can only testify that this is a great alternative to an actual fire extinguisher. It fits perfectly under my sink. I have peace of mind that if I have an emergency, it'll be easy to access and use.

I have one in the kitchen, garage, shop, and my mule. I was burning leaves and it was starting to spread and this knocked it down immediately. I highly recommend having these everywhere. They are compact and work great. I’m also surprised how long they last.

After someone set my recycle bin in the alley on fire I bought 2 of these. One for the house, one for the garage. One day I was out gardening and my neighbor's son yelled "there's a fire!" . The house on the other side of their house had a hanging grass planter that burst into flames! I grabbed my can form the garage and handed it to neighbor and he went to the other side of his yard and put the neighbor's planter out. No clue why the planter started on fire - nothing but dirt in it - so maybe the sun reflecting on the metal chains hanging it? Anyway, this came in handy and put the fire out!
