Misleading ingredients and nutrition labels
The can of whole powdered goats milk was specifically ordered because on the nutrition label and ingredients it listed folate. I needed the folate for my toddler. The product received was a bag instead of a carton and had no folate. So frustrating and misleading. The company still shows folate as part of the nutrition label but when you click on the description for nutrition it's conveniently missing.

Important ingredient in home-made baby formula
This has worked great as an ingredient in making formula for two granddaughter that have allergies to milk. Almost completely cleared up spitting up and diaper rash caused by intolerance for milk products. Make sure to use a trusted recipe and check with doctor. I am sure there are other uses.

Love this stuff!
I started using this because I found out that goat milk is alkaline, while cow's milk is acidic. I have been struggling with being too acidic to the point that I get up to pee at night every two hours. When I eat a more alkaline diet with lots of fruits and veggies, I can sleep for 4 to 5 hours. Goat milk is just one more tool in the arsenal. It tastes rich and makes a great coffee creamer. I know...coffee is acidic, but who can give up coffee?

Perfect For the Person/Family Who Drinks Goat's Milk or Cook With It On Occasion
I ordered this, since I enjoy goat's milk every now and then (in place of regular milk -- goat's milk is actually better for you than cow's milk), but it's simply too expensive to have around in the refrigerator where it quickly expires. Meyenberg is typically the brand I buy, so I was really surprised to see that they offer this in the powdered version where it is shelf stable, just like regular powdered milk.On the whole, does it taste exactly like goat's milk fresh out of a carton? Similar to powdered milk, it's not going to, so...no. It has that "powdered milk" flavor in general, which is to be expected in this genre. As a matter of fact, I don't really taste much of a difference between this and regular powdered milk, except that it does indeed taste richer. I like that I can add this to cooking, desserts, my coffee, etc. We try not to stock up too much on dairy, since it's really not all that good for you, but goat's milk in general is much more easily digested, and I love that I can just use this as needed, stick it back into my pantry until later, and not worry about wasting money on an item that expires quickly in the refrigerator. Surprisingly, both my kids like it as well.I would have given this 5 stars if it was a wee bit cheaper, since it's not inexpensive by any stretch of the term for this powdered version. If you drink a lot of goat's milk, this may not be an economical option for you, and you may be better off sticking with the fresher version. For people who enjoy it now and then, or use it for cooking as needed, etc. this is perfect.
