I like this machine. I had a regular elliptical until it became hard to stand for long periods of time. This is mindless as the programs take control. Fits under my desk, mostly. I have a ledge under my desk and this would work better without my ledge. I can't say that it is aerobic but it does work my weak legs and probably improves my heart, which suffers from congestive heart failure. One of these days I will take my pulse while using the machine, but following use, my heart rate increased only minimally.

Tried fresh batteries... nothing.Turns out that the only two(2) options available are to either keep the machine as is or return the whole machine. No replace the remote available!
