Our beeswax candles come direct from local beekeepers where the honey bees fly among the flowers in the nearby forest and forest edges. These products support small scale beekeepers and their honeybees with the hope to keep the craft of beekeeping alive. Our unique hand-kneaded marble candles are made with certified beeswax from many parts of the world. For this range we work together with a recognised workshop in Germany. The marble effect is created by using deep dark wax from Asia to golden yellow wax from South America to light beeswax from Africa. In order to achieve the unmistakable vibrancy of the candles, the different coloured waxes are mixed and kneaded intensively by hand. Honey Scented. Our beeswax candles are naturally honey scented. The scent varies slightly based on honey, pollen, and propolis present in the beeswax. Healthy. Negative ions are most commonly found near moving water, such as crashing waves, thunderstorms, and waterfalls. Negative ions are believed to produce biochemical reactions that increase levels of the mood chemical serotonin, helping to alleviate depression, relieve stress, and boost our daytime energy. While it is still debated and not yet scientifically proven, it is believed that there are other natural negative ion generators too, including our specialty, beeswax candles. 100% Beeswax. 100% Cotton Wick. Goldrick’s philosophy is sourcing beeswax candles that are natural and clean burning. We only source candles that are made ecologically using a lead-free cotton wick.
