REVISED REVIEW: Not The Spigen That I Used To Know
REVISED REVIEW: After sending a complaint to Spigen about my order, their customer service team got right on the issue. Amazon also inquired about the problem. After confirming my problem with the screen protectors, Spigen sent me a free replacement package for my Pixel 8 Pro. The package arrived two days ahead of schedule. I installed the one of the replacement protectors without any issues whatsoever. The protector adhered to the phone flawlessly, including the edges which is where the previous problem occurred. I'm not sure if the first set of protectors I had were defective or what. But the replacements worked like a charm. Spigen's customer service department was very responsive to my issue and concerns, and kept me informed throughout the entire process from the initial complaint until the replacement package was shipped out. They were very apologetic for the inconvenience. Although my initial purchase was not good at all, their fast response to the problem is very much appreciated, and I would consider buying from them again. Customer service saved the day. Thank you, Spigen!###ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have used Spigen screen protectors in the past and loved them. Plus I used to sell cell phones and helped countless people install their screen protectors.Despite the negative reviews on this product, I figured I would trust my judgement and past experience and buy them for my Pixel 8 Pro. I should have trusted the reviews. They were correct. The biggest issue? It will not seal around the edges of the phone screen. The two screen protectors that came with this package were a huge failure after installation. We followed the installation directions to the letter; cleaned the phone, no dust on the screen, etc. As directed, we put the screen guide over the phone and installed the glass protector. It was a failure. It would not seal on the side edges, and air kept creeping under the edges. We repeatedly used the tool to push the air out to create a seal, and it would not work. One poor seal even allowed an air gap to reach the middle of the screen.Since the first was a failure, we decided to try the second (and last) screen protector in the package. After cleaning the phone a second time, we again followed the installation directions perfectly. And again, another fail. This time the protector would not seal at the top and lower bottom left side. The failure to seal at the top is going to be a huge problem since there is no hole in the glass screen protector for the camera on the front of the phone, and with a poor seal and air between the phone and screen protector, it is going to create foggy photos. We left the second protector on the phone until we can order new ones (not from Spigen). While the screen protector doesn't completely cover the entire phone screen (only a slight gap on the 8 Pro), that isn't an issue for me since I use a case.Since the first screen protector was useless, we carefully examined it on both sides to see where the problem was. The back side (that is supposed to adhere to the phone) felt as if there was very little adhesive near the edges. Apparently that is where the problem is.It is extremely disappointing to pay as much as I did for these screen protectors, plus I trusted the Spigen name from my previous experience, only to use both screen protectors in an effort to get at least one to work and they both failed miserably. I was really hoping to make at least one work, and even if we could have, I would have been satisfied. It was a waste of time and especially money. That will be my last Spigen purchase. Now the search for a better screen protector begins.Trust the reviews about the poor seals. They are exactly right.

Adhesion issues.
I decided to purchase this even considering the negative reviews, specifically because it's a full screen protector that doesn't have a cutout for the front camera (really hate those types) - also I've used Spigen glass screen protectors before on my previous phones. Unfortunately I can say that the negative reviews are right, this is awful.I made sure the screen was absolutely clean and free of dust - even using a bright light to ensure it. It seemed to be going on fine - until it hit the corners. 3 of the 4 stuck down, but there was one that just wouldn't. I made sure there was no dust getting in the way and there wasn't. I tried everything. I pushed near the edge, then pushed directly on the edge. Just as it looked like it was going to stick, it would just come right back up again. Took some soap and water spray to it to try to help it adhere and it seemed promising, but it lifted again not long after. Eventually, I pushed down hard enough on that corner that the whole screen protector shattered.Fortunately there were two, so I tried my hand with the second one, taking a different approach. I decided to spray the screen down with soap and water (like if you were applying a plastic one - I've had excellent results before doing this with glass ones too) then apply the screen protector. Again, seemed super promising and I worked out all of the air bubbles carefully. Unfortunately again, one corner just refused to stick down (a different one from the last one). That's when I noticed that there was a slight defect in the glass on the screen protector, a very small bump that was likely the culprit. Still, I spent close to 2 hours just trying before I got super frustrated and gave up.The only positive things I can say about this is that the fingerprint reader worked without any issues and the front camera not having a cutout hole would have made this the perfect screen protector - but Spigen needs to figure out the adhesion issues because as it stands, this is pure garbage. You might get lucky and get one that doesn't have these issues, but it seems like the vast majority of them do.It's not worth risking a purchase.

Meticulous work required
This screen protector works extremely well, but it is a little finicky to put on. Order of operations: with clean hands, wipe clean with isopropyl alcohol wipe, use polishing cloth (make sure it is fresh out of the box, do not let it touch anything), use sticker to gently press on screen and up dust, put on orange application aid (use a fresh sticker if necessary), take of back film of screen protector facing away from you away from any potential sources of dust. Apply screen protector. Finally, use gentle pressure to get bubbles to go away. If the edges are having trouble adhering, place phone face down on paper towel and apply even pressure to entire phone for a few minutes (with a large book or something similar) or on spot of interest (gentle finger pressure). You need to make 100 percent sure that there is no dust, especially on the corners where it is harder to see. I wore a hat to make sure that none of my hair came close to anything. If you shine a flashlight at an angle onto the screen, it makes the fine particles easier to see.IF there are small dust particles, use the corner of your nail to pry up the closest edge of the screen protector, and slide a sticker in the gap to remove the offending dust.Good luck applying your screen protector!
