Wood installation requires different screws
I installed these on ceiling joists and after about 40 of them realized that they’d eventually have to be replaced. Use only 14 gauge wire as you’ll need different wire nuts with anything larger. If installing into wood get yourself 2 #6 pan head Phillip screws. 3/4 or 1” work great. This allows for them to be installed and removed at a later time. The screws provided were #6 fine thread machine screws. Which would be perfect if you wanted to drill 2 pilot holes for each light. Do not use anything larger than #6 head. I used drywall screws at first and they were too large. Allow plenty of wiggle room for you wire so you can pull them through your hole. I suggest mounting them as close as possible to the ballast to avoid any issues later on.Haven’t turned them on yet but I’ll revise my review as necessary.

Great product so easy
Saved a ton of time and money, dimmers work great, lovely white color lights up the mostly windowless room like natural light. Will purchase more.
