First, I was a bit surprised when the bag arrived, as I underestimated what 5lbs would look like, especially in banana chip form. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't upset that the bag was so large, just shocked at how much banana chip you get to equal 5lbs (imagine a medium size dog food bag of banana chips). Second, I am impressed at how good these chips taste. We've all likely tried dried bananas chips at some point in our life, and likely had the "too bland" or "too sweet" thought run through our heads as we were snacking. These chips, thankfully, are just right (at least for me). They aren't too bland, nor are they sugary like candy chips that some in those trail mix bags. The big green 5lb bag seals along the top once opened, so you can keep the chips fresh between snacking. A nice added feature to an already good product. My bag states that they were made in the Philippines, but were sent "fresh to me." Get the marketing technique, but more importantly, the chips did taste fresh and were not too dry (brittle), nor do they feel soggy. They are packed for freshness, as the bag states, and remained fresh for the 3+wks that I snacked on them. Excellent product.

I bought this product a couple of months back and liked the taste and texture. We went through the 5 lb bag and ordered another one. However, the second bag was not as sweet and had an after taste we did not care for. It is not so bad that we are ready to throw it away but it will take a lot longer for us to go through the bag. When we are done, we will try one more time to allow the vendor the benefit of doubt. So, the first bag was 5 stars and the second bag is one star, with 3 star average. Hopefully, they can do a better job of quality control and the product will be more consistent from batch to batch.

These banana chips are really, really good. They were very fresh. They're not hard as rocks, like some banana chips I've had. So they're easy on your teeth. Some companies make their banana chips cloyingly sweet. These chips are lightly sweetened, so they're better for you. The 5 lb bag is huge. But if you've got kids, and you're tired of throwing out bananas that get too ripe, this is a good deal.

This product was good overall. The only reason I didn't give a five rating, was because there were some hard pieces in the package. Which made them difficult to chew! But they had a nice flavor, there isn't anything worse than a fake banana taste! These tasted like authentic banana chips! Soooo I would purchase them again!! That's my honest review!!
