I got this for the first few weeks of TPLO recovery to keep our little westie from licking her incision and avoid the cone. I intentionally ordered a size up and tried it on before surgery..this worked great as I wanted her to have a lot of flexibility and ROM with that leg as well as have it be loose on the legs to not rub her incision. I did trim the length of legs which has held up fine! 7 days post op and no cone or incision issues. She sleeps in it and it hasn't come off yet. I wouldn't trust it if we were gone for hours as she may sneak the shoulder straps off. The only negative is the slightly looser size covers her ability to pee with it on, if she was a boy it would be fine. We take it off to go potty and do some massage/ROM anyway so it's ok for us.

Despite measuring, this runs very large! Way too big for my pomeranian. I was able to return for refund so 5 stars for customer service

Would love for this to have worked for us after tplo surgery. We followed the video on measuring and bought an xl. Unfortunately it is for the size of a German Shepard and not a rat terrier. It was confusing as the video tells you to measure length of the leg but the picture tells you to measure the width of the leg. I really wished it had worked because it felt like a nice sturdy product!

This suite was very kind for our dog compared to the plastic cone the Vet sent her home wearing. Rosie did figure out how to chew the straps into after a few days! Meanwhile, her surgery wound was almost healed - hooray!!!

I had a few issues getting it over his bandage, ended up using one of my old knee highs to help it slide up over it a bit easier! Of course then I put it on backwards, the long pc goes under the belly! Lol. It seems tuff, but he's a massive chewer, so we will see! He doesn't want to walk in it, but his luxated patella surgery, he's not supposed to..so may be a good thing! He's hard to keep down! So I'll update more after we see how it goes! Nice to not need a cone though, he was depressed wearing a cone!Updated review: This worked out fantastically! Once he went for his bandage change, it was a lot less bulk, it slid on perfectly! The girls in the vets office was so over the moon with how cute he looked and the vet loved the idea! Nobody wants to put the cone of shame on their babies!! So I am increasing it to 5 stars! It washed up nicely in cold water, gentle cycle. I made sure to keep the straps attached to its velcro so they didn't catch fuzzies!!
