Pegs were not quite right.
The pegboard is well made, however the kit we received had the correct number of pegs, but when all the pegs were in the holes, one large pegboard hole was left with a small peg to go in it, otherwise it would have 5 stars. All in all it does what we need it to so it’s only my self diagnosed OCD that has a problem with it.

Seems Like a Quality Item but Has Material and Quality Control Issues
At the listed price point and given the description, this appears to try to fill the premium quality niche. And, there are some nice things about this item:- The pegs come in a nice padded box and have a solid heft to them- The board itself is heavy enough to feel stable and not move as the pieces are placedHowever, there are also some substantial problems:- First, the board appears to be particle board and veneer instead of "wood" as listed in the description- Second, there are quality control issues. The edges of the board are sharp, not beveled. The veneer around the outside is poorly applied, leading to an ugly gap on the edge (see photo).Overall, this is a middling-quality item for a premium price, so I would not recommend it.

Board and Pegs of decent quality, but can get boring quickly.
This board and pegs are of pretty good quality for what they and there is definitely no issues on that end. The issue ultimately is the level of entertainment as I got this for a family member and they got bored of it rather quickly. in regards to the intent it is pretty simple to put the pegs in the board holes where they fit best and in turn it helps train the hands and memory. It does seem to work pretty well in keeping someone engaged but it is rather brief entertainment. I think in regards to cupboard being loose and separate from the board itself it makes it more susceptible to spilling so in regards to those with a larger mental handicap I don't know how safe this would be as it would be very easy to spill the box with the pegs over. The plus side is the pegs do have a bit of weight to them so at least the individual using them will be aware of them in their hand due to that. Overall this is a pretty good for what it is, the downside there just isn't a whole lot to help keep someone's attention with them and to store them when not in use is a bit of a pain as well.

Too easy
It is a fun exercise for my handicapped aunt. Although it is a bit too easy even for her.
